What's the best way to skill up the rifleman tree? I know as a TK it was to do the power tree FIRST in order to get speed/damage increases. If I were to use the same thing for rifles,I would skill up probly the sniping line first. If this is the case, great, if not, please set me straight. Thanks.

I would advise taking the fourth line first... If you have already mastered any other combat profession it won't be difficult for you to fill it, because it requiers combat xp. This line will give you speed bonus.

Then take the first line to get accuracy bonus. The rest 2 lines are made within 4-5 hours. The best grinding rifle is one with high speed. Use power ups to increase max damage. Go hunt howler stalkers in a group (4900- 5000 xp).

get 4004 asap, then it almost doesnt matter. for efficiency, get flushing2 in the counter tree.

My path was:

0-0-0-4 for the speed

0-1-0-4 for conceal shot

4-1-0-4 for the accuracy

kill gurks on lok and try to get hide while filling the remainder...done with great gusto.

if u can go 0004 with all ur stored up combat xp

then go

3004 for HS3

3034 for flushing shot 2 ( area attack, have a pet attack/tank the lair and just spam FS2 )

the rest is up to u. it took me about 3 hours after getting 3034 to master

ohh and i did pure quenker missions in a solo group ( edited for this line )

I am doing Rifleman atm - however have no stored combat XP and I am losing Marksman trees to pay for the skill points. So making that 0-0-0-4 is kinda tricky as far as I can see. As such have gone 0-2-1-2 so far and am going for 0-2-2-2 to get to use DRX6b rifles (as I have a few ready to go). I will then go up the first tree.

So question is how can I increase the combat XP apart from using nades ? btw the reason I am losing marksman trees is I am a Master WS, which I want to keep (ending up with Master WS/Master Rifleman). Also, it is fairly difficult solo grinding this so strongly suggest getting conceal shot - makes like a lot easier.

like i said, get 3xxx for teh HS3, thenget flushing shot 2 ( xx3x ). everything will go fast after that. on the combat xp, its kinda hard to do it without novice medic at the least because of the dmg u will take. but i do believe grenades is ur only option, other than killing that many rancors
