Thread: If you're going to cap us at 3 seconds...
Why not throw in 2 automatic aims? Right now, we could almost simulate a 3 second cap by doing /aim /aim before each shot. This ups our accuracy (yay for us!) and lowers our speed (yay for rifleman haters!). Of course I wouldn't literally want 2 /aims in there... it would be more of an automatic calculation that we don't really see or something. And I think we'd still want some bigger damage to deal.
Anyway, just a thought. My pistoleer friend was telling me about how riflemen shouldn't whine about being inaccurate, because we have this great move called /aim yet we don't use it enough. He sort of had a point... it's just that I'm not too excited about having to alternate my aims and shots, making spamming a pain in my bum.
Aim is useless in solo combat, as it makes you stop moving. By then the commando has cought you and has proceded to shove his flamethrower into your rectum and make toast out of your spleen.
Aim is only good in a group, when you have the time to do it.
I've often wondered what the guy does standing there looking down his rifle scope waiting for the delay to end so you can preform another attack/speical...
Isent he sitting there aiming? I'd think so...but aparently not.
3 seconds is way to slow. way to slow.
may the force be with you
or maybe rifle 3, carbine 2.5, pistol 2
3 second cap would be enuf to make me change professions. i get sick in the stomach to think of all that ground those pubams will be making while i wait to shoot again. IF we are 3 second capped, WE BETTER NEVER MISS!
I don't even know why we use the "they" pronoun. "They" only post here when it's time to answer the monthly report. "they" don't bother looking now that "they" have a monthly report.
Shouldn't that be 3 /aims instead of 2? I say this because the actual shot doesn't take any time, so 2 /aims would only be 2 seconds then fire, whereas 3 would be 3 seconds then fire ![]()
I reckon Carbines should get the 0.5s shot as it's all within the idea of a carbine.
This is comming from someone who thinks rifleman is one of the bestter PvP classes out there.
If there is any way we can stop this cap, we must, or trust me, our only advantage of a lot of dammage on the front end of PvP will be taken away, and all our many, many weakness left. Leaving us tragically undermatched vs just about ever profession.
