I heard that you should go up the Counter-Sniping tactics tree first insetad of the Sniper Accuracy tree in order to get flushing shot 1/2 which would help you get XP significantly.

Why is this? I dont have flushing shot but I know it hits random pools so you'll be hitting health and action as well as mind sometimes so its less efficient...

Flushing 2 is a high-damage AE special. If you find yourself often in situations where you can hit multiple targets without worrying about dying (i.e. you have someone or a pet to tank for you) it can be a very effective way to XP.

I would personally recommend getting mindshot 2 first.

yeah i dont group a lot and dont have a pet so i'd probably just get a bunch of aggroes and get owned

but yeah i have 2 boxes in sniping accuracy already so i have headshot3 and mindshot2... was kinda hoping to get all 4 so i can get my ranged deathblow (sniper shot - even though you get less faction than if you unequiped ur rifle) but if flushing shot will help me get more xp in the long run i'll get that

yeah ive come to realise this myself.

Get Mindshot 2 first, then spend all you xp on the counter sniping to get Flushing Shot 2

Head Shot 3 isnt with the skill points at the moment.

Flushing Shot 2 with the use of a pet is awesome xp!!! Im flying my way up to rifleman tree with it.

And ohh by the way, i hate to admit it, but i have to agree with the masters here, the higher you get the powerful a rifleman is.

So to those that are pluggin along in the rifleman profession, buckle up, cuase it does suck being a novice rifleman, but as you get higher, all i can say is, **edit**!!!

flushing shot 2 owns

i was making 3-4k xp a kill on endor today from everything that dropped near our CHs pet. all i had to do was shoot at them one at a time. i wound up making about 120k xp in just a couple hours.

i have yet to try it in PvP against a group of imps, but im waiting patiently for that time to come.

but you'll be shooting more cuz it will be hitting not only health, but action like 35 % of the time and sometimes mind

yes but when on mobs is mind not around the same as the health or action, also the multiplier on flushing2 is higher than any mind damaging attack, so when you use it, dont use mindshots that for the most part wont help.

but that is my 2 creds

A lot depends on if you are drugged out or have a doc. In groups, a doc can keep your down time down. If not, you will burn through a ton of mind/drugs/food and be sitting a lot with flush and such.
