Thread: T21 and conceal shot problem?
Ok, I have my shiny new T21 and I was using conceal shot just likeI was before with my laser or e11, problem is I noticed that at some point the creature got a bleed from my conceal shot? And of course when the creaure started bleeding it instantly saw me and warped on my head
Is this because the wound percentage of the gun is higher? What does the wounds % weapon stats do anyways?
PS,I was the only person firing at the creature, and each time the creature "saw" me with the T21and they would not see me with the other rifles. And I did not miss one single shot.
Weird?
Some older documentation (the Strategy Guide, for instance) states that wounds result in bleeding, but that is not true. Wounds are reductions to the maximum of your HAM and stats bars, represented by the black on the bars when you have wounds. Thus, if you have an Action bar of 800 and you take 30 wounds to action, you will only be able to go up to 770 Action until you get the wounds healed. Bleeding, on the other hand, is a damage over time effect. When you get hit with a bleeding shot, you continue to take damage on the affected HAM bar until the bleeding stops naturally or is stopped with the First Aid skill. But this is damage, a reduction in the amout of HAM you have, not a reduction in the maximum you can get. Bleeding damage, like other damage, can be replenished with a Stim Pack, and can be done anywhere. Wounds, on the other hand, can only be repaired witha wound pack, and they can only be used in a med center, in a camp, or in the presence of a medical droid. They can also be repaired in player housing and a couple of other places like that.
Other than the suggestion that someone 'helped' you, the only explanation I could offer is that you fired a normal attack between concealshots without knowing it. I have my concealshot on a macro to do three in a row. That way, there is less of a chance that I will fire a conceal shot and wait too long to fire my next one, allowing a regular attack to slip in between them.
