Find a krayt hunting group and find a lair. Then what all hell brakes loose and there are like 5 krayt dragons running around slaughtering everyone use a laser rifle to fire both MS1 and 2 on each krayt. Because bleed attacks arent toned down by resists and armor, you will out damage all of your group by firing only 2 attacks on each dragon. This works especially well on ancient krayt dragons because of there extreme resists and the fact that bleed attacks do their normal damage. Assuming their not juvies (because they die in like 30 seconds in a big group) you should get max xp on each krayt.

I was under the impression that you don't get xp from bleeds?

I always get xp from bleeds u guys must be bugged. I am 100% sure I get xp from bleeds.

Just make sure you get in an extra shot after your bleeds and you'll get the experience.

Doesn't matter what kind of shot, just make sure it hits.

I don't do details as well has he did (too impatient to type), so, i will be fast:
Must hit atleast once with a non bleed shot.
It takes the damage done by you/each other and uses that as a percentage to divid up exp. Does not count bleed damage. So, if you bleed for 10k, but, only hit for 500 with non bleed shot, while another player hit for 2000 non bleeds, you would get 20% of the exp for the mob while your friend would get 80%.
Oh, it also takes into account what type of damage. So, if you hit bleed with rifle, but, switched to pistol for the non bleed damage, you would get pistol exp. Or, if you shot 100 non bleed with rifle, 200 non bleed with pistol, it would give you 33% of exp in rifle, 66% in pistol.

Actually, the origianl poster has hit on a great way to kill Krayts but a horrible way to gain xp. As a rifleman using bleeds I have gotten the kill for many Krayts, walked up to the corpse and gotten the "you do no t have permission to access this corpse" message because my bleed damage doesn't count in the calculation. I usually start a bleed on the dragonnow and then pound with regular shots to make sure I get my share of the damage. Using this method I average over 5k rifle xp per Krayt. The problem is that I refuse to hunt Krayts in larger groups because of ninja looters so if a larger group decides to jump in on my groups prey they will usually get looting and harvesting rights. Sortof stinks that I'm the one taking the dragon down but I don't get the rewards a fair amount of the time.
