All I can say is wow. I'm a almost master riflemen and none of my attacks hit this high.

None of your attacks hit this high? Id say you need better weapons. All of my special hit for more than that, usually from 1500-3000 on average, and thats is before the ap bonus because thats what my combat window says. the number over the creatures head is usually is much higher. I'n almost at master as well.

Note that that's PvP damage. A good laser rifle (650 damage) could hit for about 1300 in PvP.. a bit more with a pre-nerf T21. But yea.. doing that with a pistol is weird.. the last ditch attack is special though as I understand it does a lot of damage but gives a high recharge time.

What weapon/specials do you use, Arc?

I have a 200-400 dmg T-21, and with HS3 I hit for 1.5k on NPCs. That translates to around 375 durring PvP. Note that AP doesn't work on unarmored targets.

Remember Arcanis, that damage is 1106 against a PC... one-shot, one kill if you pulled that off against most people. And that's with a 75% damage reduction

So that's Buttonhoffer pulling off a shot that would do over 7000 damage against a MOB. Your 3000 rifleman shot pales to that, no offense, mine does too. Last ditch attack with the right pistol is pretty much the most powerful known single shot in the game.

Oh, forgive me then, 75% reduction! I never pvp much, but ok, yeah that is a serious hit then!
