hmmm, well I don't see the problem.... if you kill to fast switch to a less damaging gun - recommends a dlt20
(no idea what to say ... never heard of this a problem)

Almost every profession has this problem with low to mid level stuff. Like the other guy said. Kill bigger things...
As for the saberblock thing you either got lucky and rolled well against the 85% or the Jedi really didn't have the full 85% saberblock. Nothing we get at master rifleman and no skill tapes or AA improve out chances of making it though a full saberblock better than any other ranged profession. No saberblock is NOT affected by accuracy...... I dont care what your friend's brother's girlfriend's cousin's roommate said.

firing at one shot every second. typically, rifleman want +97, of which they get +90 at master rifle, and +5 at master marks. most serious rifleman take the +90 and get +7 in spd tapes.
