Your thoughts would be appreciated. It seems that the skill points for that branch would be better utilized elsewhere.
Thanks to all that respond.

If you can afford the skill points, I would keep it for the THREATENSHOT attack and the AIM ability, if nothing else. They are just nice to have even though a MRM doesn't need them, per se'. If you really want to utilize the skill points elsewhere, at MRM you won't really miss that branch of the Marksman tree.

For those who really take the time to learn the skills as above threaten shot can be usefull for the grind. It will make things run away and allow you to keep them away from you. At master conceal shot and if they argo light them up with a high power attack if they reach you they should be near dead by then.

Seems to me the only way this would work is if you were fighting a mob who's normal stance would be prone or kneeling.

I never thought of that either... eediot.
Anyway, how well does flurry/suppression work on tougher nightsisters, especially elders?

Barely sticks in pvp and high-end pve, you have to spam like crazy. If you really want to use it, I recommend you land all possible states first (like intimidate, stun etc) to lower the posture-down defense and even then it's not really reliable.
