Thread: High-End PvE Template Suggestions?

Hello all,

I was just wandering what sort of templates people who can solo Krayts/Elders use, because I want to be like them Obviously superb gear is part of it, but skills are vitally important, too . MRifleman obvisously, but what else? Do you have scout for terrain speed? Or medic? Or a proffession that gives lots of defensive bonus?


Any help would be appreciated!

ok if you are talking about soloing krayts and NS elders and such then you must par-take in the best PvE proffesion.....swordsman. simply put it is the best prof for soloing IMO also the one companion skill to ANY solo template will be medic medic is a must for krayts and low level NS( hehe thats an oxymoron) medic 0040 which grants you the use of stim D's will be more than enough to keep you alive for elders i would suggest 4440 medic simply b/c an elder can literally bleed you to death.....if you are dead set on keeping rifleman b/c dont get me wrong, conceal shot and head shot3 work wonders in pve try swordsman/rifleman with some medic my template is tkm/M swordsman/ medic 4440 and i have no problem soloing anything except elders as that i am not speed capped as of yet

Master Rifle with either Master Swords OR Master Pikes AND Medic 2-0-4-0, Master Combat Prowess, FS Ranged and Melee Def IV, and then Novice Defender (jedi). Without any force sensitivity (get the speed at least!) then Master brawler, or add some TK or Fencer Defense, or add some scout. Either way you'll be a beast against any ground content currently in the game until the mythical combat redux changes everything around some.

at the moment my template is : tkm/mr/medic 2100/scout 3040/fs combat 3000. i can solo giant canyon krayts, GDKs, and elders with ease. i'm in the process of altering my template a little to tkm/mr/medic 2040/scout 3010/fs combat 4000 tho. as i'm sure many would agree, the difference between stim B heals (current medic level) and stim E heals (usable once i get medic 0040) is very noticeable. as it is, i can manage quite easily against big enemies, but once the BF goes over 300, stim Bs just aren't effective enough. i'm also keeping the 2xxx line in medic just because NS bleeds can be very damaging.

i find having tkm in my template to be very helpful, firstly, the meditate tree is very handy (especially against GDKs, nastiest disease i know in game). secondly, when a mob comes to close, switch to unarmed and you get the added toughness, helps to slow down the enemy just enough for you to either get away or heal your damage.

then there is scout 3000, which gives +40 terrain negotiation, very very useful for kiting. i have the extra xx4x atm since i often hunt for organic resources and since many creatures that drop good organic these days are cheapskates, every little bit of harvest count
