strafeshot2 has the highest dmg modifier for all rifle shots at 5x. perhapsthe min/max on your gun isnt good, or perhaps your using strafeshot1. if your a master, and you are indeed using strafeshot2, please check the armor rating and resists of the mobs you are fighting.

You might want to give some hard numbers so we can look at what may be happening.

I think he's referring to the corpse-exploit.

yes i am master.

i usally use master head shot. it seems to do much better than strafe shot 2.

my gun is not 'uber' by any standard

my t21 is like 550 max dam,

my dxr6 i think is around 330.

StrafeShot2 is a random pool white HeadShot3 is a Mind pool hit. So though SS2 has a much higher damage multiplier you may also be hitting each pool spreading the damage around. So HS3 can be a better specials.

Also you probably aren't speed capped with SS2 if you are only Master Rifleman. Which means you are probably shooting SS2 at a little over 2sec depending on the speed of the rifle. However HS3 has a much lower delay mod. So you are getting twice as many shots off since that is probably firing at the cap.

Which gives a comparative damage of about 6X with HS3 which is all targeted at a single pool compared to SS2 which is at 5X and spread over the three pools.

That assumes firing at a single target. As the number of targets increases so does the effectiveness of SS2 in the example since you are hitting each target as opposed to just a single one.

Hope that helps out some.

lol yeah I had teh same problem. I would use what I thought was Strafeshot2 and I was getting crappy dmg and the state ie gives wasn't there either. I didn't realize I was doing the wrong one until I saw a friend shooting the same thing I was with basically the same weapon and I wasn't even coming close to his dmg.

Sure enough I checked and was using Strafeshot1. I dont thing I ever switched when I got it while lvling.

I Felt So stupid. lol
