Holy crap
So I read this thread about this dude who wants to macro krayts, but is having difficulty making it happen (and btw as far as I know there is no good way to do such a thing).
....And what happens? The guy gets creamed for "being lazy" and "having bad motives" so on and so forth.
Someone even has the gall to say to the guy "being rich, takes lots of hard work and skill"..............
to that I say
HA HA HA, MY ASS
I quit reading the thread after the first few flames, was absolutely pathetic.
"Lots of hard work and effort" thats the stupidest crock-a-mamie load of crap I have heard since this game launched. Maybe if you earn your fortune thru crafted goods sold on a vendor AND you surveyed AND harvested all your resources. Then yes, you earned it the "right" way.
What really is pathetic is not the poster trying to get people to help him "get rich quick", it's the absolutely laughable notion that the far majority "earn" their fortunes. Everyone knows the vast majority of the money that circulates on the servers follows the "uberloots" and that the only way to actually make millions upon millions in this game AND still get 8 hrs of sleep AND eat 3 meals per day AND maintain even the crappiest of crappy social lives AND keep a job that doesn't involve playing SWG is to...............................
/drumroll
LOOT FARM
**GASP** the cat is out of the bag!! OH MY FREAKING GOD!!!
DWB anybody?
Geo lab anybody?
There is no disputing this. I don't care what anyone says, it is fact. Go to ANY trade forum, and 90% MINIMUM of the posts are for some loot auction, and 99% are starting at 100k minimum bids.
So honestly, don't give this guy crap, so what....he wants to not ever have to worry about maintenance or equipment costs, SO WHAT?? What the hell difference does it make to us? None, it is not his fault that the game is F**ked to all hell and the economy is primarily loot driven.
As for krayt macros my man, forget about that route. Your best bet is to go nightsister hunting, especially elders, and loot them, get novice medic so that you can heal with really good stim b's. If you really want to loot krayts, make sure you draw themapprox. 250maway from where they spawned, then kill them. That way another will respawn in its place by the time you killthe first one(you can keep doing this ALL DAY LONG). Hell, forget krayts, do the same to GDKs on Lok, GDK scales sell for several million on most servers. Or get in a group headed to the DWB or geo lab and try to get loot there (that is, the loot that the jedi loot farmers somehow manage not to snatch up).
That is your best bet.
Loot a medicine / armor / weapon experimentation CA and you'll be able to buy multiple pearls if you really want em.
Good luck
Don't worry about people being pissy, this so-called "community" is full of sniveling little swg-elitists who mostly just don't want you to move in and try to get a piece of their precious pie. But there are plenty of other good people who will help you out with that sort of stuff. Just remember you gotta bring something to the party too......it's a quid pro quo world, swg is no exception.

Was it really necessary to make an entirely new thread to respond to this?

Actually it needed to be said... For what it's worth, the guy is exactly right... Most of these goons that are slamming this guy are just afraid that when they go out to solo their own Krayts that he will already be on it! Simple as that!

If I didn't feel it was, I wouldn't have posted a new thread.
SWG has enough problems without this kind of crap coming from our "community". (not referring to you darthmarksman)
I personally have no problem with helping someone or giving them advice on how to do anything, so long as it is within my means and it isn't malicious in nature.
Been here since day one, and watched things go quite south since that summer. If someone wants advice or help, I'll be happy to do what I can.
Simple
