Sup all,I am almost master doctor, and am going to work up to master rifleman. I was either thinking of using the extra skill points for the ranged line in marksman (is this worth it?), or cm novice + some of the combat medic skills. What are your thoughts on which one would be a stronger character?

marksman xxx4 is a prerequisite for novice combat medic.

see your favorite character builder including this one.

My fault, didn't know marksman xxx4 was a prereq for cm, thanks.

I use my 18 free points for brawler (for warcrying if im running from a battle) and intimidate. I drop it for novice scout too if theres a good spawn.

you wont have enough points to get novice CM.

Master Rifles =92 pts

Master Doc=140 pts

leaves you 18pts to play with.

you need 14 pts for marksman xxx4 and novice CM is 6 pts.

Alternatives:

artisan xxx1 to survey for your own resources for credits/meds.

scout xx1x + vegehash to harvest creatures for credits/meds.

brawler for intimidate and warcry (tho we might laugh at you)

marksman xxx4 for suppression fire to posture down (tho it doesn't work well in pvp)

or my personal favorite 1xxx scout + terrain biscuits and parawan nutricake.

theres no right/wrong answer, just depends on your playstyle.

Maybe I didn't phrase it correctly. I was asking if its worth giving up marksman xxx4 to get novice combat medic and some of the skill boxes. I have some resource hookups so I'd rather put any remaining skill points into combat.

I think its best to keep them moving around.

Between scout for terrain negot, harvesting and artisan for surveying, variety is the spice of life.
