Im hopefully getting 6 +97 Krayt Tissues. What should I get Jawa or Dxr6b? Also I have an Exceptional Scope to throw on it.

Dxr6b because basically a high dmg dxr6 is better than a jawa because of ap2 and you can use a dxr6b alot more than a jawa.. Just my 2cents though

more and more ppl have stun comp and stun PSGs, for pvp the ap2 and higher dmg from dxr would seem better, although if someone didn't have the stun comp a jawa would rip through em... its pretty much even, if this is for PvE as well then i would go dxr no doubt but just pvp its a toss up.

in the last month I have pvped atleast 20 times and i ran into one guy with decent stun defence. No joke. Other than that my crappy jawa pwned everyone i fought. I would put the tissues into a Jawa unless all you hut is jedi, then you will need the dxr-6. Back to the stun armor, most smiths told me the layer required to make the stun protection hasn't dropped in a long time.

Dxr., a 400 Max Jawa costs about 40k, you probably spent a good deal more on those tissues just to nail a speed slice ^_^

I hope you mean 400 dmg with a pup. Even still, on chilly, people sell 300 dmg jawas for a million or more; finding one with any kind of decent damage is becoming a lifelong profession in itself. Were I to find a 375+ dmg jawa, I'd have to lay down at least 3 million for it. Which i'd be happy to do, becuase a lot of pvper's are sloppy about putting on stun helmets.

As for the original question, talk to the ws, and find out what kind of damage you can reasonably expect the final product to produce. Also consider that getting a damage slice is a 50/50 prospect, so getting a 400 max dmg jawa is an excersize in speculation. But given the fact that uber dxr6's drop from the geo caves, and a good ws can make a dxr6 froma schem with good yellow cubes which also drop in the caves, getting your hands on a really high dmg jawa is prolly much more difficult than getting a high dmg dxr6.

When I pvp, I usually start off with my t21, seeing how I'm speed capped, and I like the armor piercing, and I usally start off at a distance, meaning the horrible accuracy at close range isn't biting at me yet. Doing this allows me to gauge a few things. If the mind bar isn't going down every easily, it means that they're either using high % armor, a psg with some energy protection (and therefore more stun protection) or both. In this case, I'll switch to the DXR6, and give it a try. The acid dmg won't be blocked by a psg. If the t21's attacks wears down the mind more quickly, then they're prolly using grind armor and have no psg. In this case, i'll switch to the jawa, and the mind bar simply crumbles. But if the t21 was doing good dmg, but the jawa is having problems, it means they're wearing crappy armor and a psg. I'll switch back to the dxr6. I guess what i'm saying is that during pvp you should get comfortable with switching your rifles to get a feel how they affect different opponents, and to get a better handle on which rifle you should be using in which situation. The biggest obstacle I overcame in pvp is the instinct to immediately spamming attacks with the rifle I had in hand, and to take a second to think about tactics, not worrying about getting hit for two seconds while I prepare thoroughly.

ok do the math here, say you use the tissues in a drx, and you get a good slice and you end up with 700 max w/ a PU.

so 700 max with the pvp reductions is 175. then with the x3 damage mod from head shot 3 thats 525.

then add the 25% damage bonus from the one level of AP you have over them and you get 656.

then, say they're wearing 80% acid armor which is very common these days. so 80% of 656 is 524 and 656-524 is 132

so you'll do a maximum of 132 damage to someone wearing a helmet with 80% to acid and no ranged damage mitig.

now, lets say you also get a good slice on the jawa and it comes out to about 550 damage with a PU.

550 with the pvp damage reductions is 138. then with the x3 damage mod it's 414.

and let's say they're wearing 40% stun armor. and 414 X .4 is 249 and 414-249 is 165.

then, lets say they are wearing a 50% psg as well, then the damage is reduced to 82

but here's the catch, a lot of people now don't wear psgs since AAs can no longer go into any type of non decay armor, other than a mabari belt which takes up the slot a PSG normally would.

so there really is no clear-cut winner here. there are a ton of scenarios to play over in your head and you can always think of a lot of reasons to go with one or the other.

if they're wearing an eff sliced psg and top of the line stun armor, you're better off going with the dxr, but, then again, they could also not be wearing any stun armor at all, in which case you can tear their mind apart with the jawa.

one other advantage to using a dxr is that the range is awesome, and with yor exceptional scope, it would be almost impossible to miss.

so imo, i would go with the dxr, because it's the best all-around choice since you can even use it in PvE if you get into a pinch and you can add to the damage with yellow cubes, or you can get the condition up to around 1400 with nice green cubes

Yeah, with my 800 max Dxr I hit for about 250-350, and generally 160-ish with my Jawa.
