Ok, I don't want to come off like a jerk, but here goes...

Everything I've read previously about the Berserker is that its not worth it, only AP1 and Heat damage.

Well, I'd like to have another damage type, but everyone tells me, just use your T21, the AP3 will over come XX% resistance of energy and outdamage the Berserker.

So, what is it?

Is the Berserker something to write home about, or just a fancy new toy to play with, then toss in the corner after a month when you get bored of it?

As a former Master Pistoleer, I enjoyed having the flexibility of Multiple Damage types, but was sorely disappointed with the Damage Output (not enough SP at Master Ranger to pick up Desperado and Rouge).

Fighting the various kinds of nightsisters and other creatures out there, it's quite handy to have a Heat type rifle. I'm looking forward to whipping up 3-4 Gorax Berserker Rifles. (I've got a couple +120/-0.78 bones)
