A decent scout blaster is faster, better avg. damage, and MUCH lower ham costs... also you won't take 2.5x damage while wielding it...by comparison with it's 15-155 damage my spraystick is an absolute joke of a weapon. Spraystick is no pistol, but if you have no pistol skills and want to get something off you fast it's the way to go until you're a master I guess.

Bounty...

You might want to try less Headshots in PvE. PvE is about all i do, and I just hit first with Mindshots (fairly standard practice) with my highest damage gun, then go to spraystick for suppression fire. I fire suppression every 5 or 6 seconds, make sure it hits, and then hit peace for a few seconds. I take out 10K MOBs (Mountain Squill for example) without ever firing 1 headshot, and many times my Mind bar is still at around 75-80% when I'm done. In other words, let the Mindshot bleed kill the MOB.

And yes, I hear they are Nerfing suppression fire. I'll be royally screwed as thats all i ever use. Guess I'll have to take another look at that Warning shot method....

Must agree

I use the tactic myself, MS2 & MS1, then swithc to my Spraystick, to ensure that i get the xp for the kill.

If you are going to use the mindshot bleeds you have to ensure that you infact do hit it at least once otherwise you will not get any xp for it.

SPraystick is also good for when you arerunning between missions. I dont know if it is a fault or not, but i dont seem to do the stutter step when i have the spraystick equipped.

I find the spraystick very useful. MS, HS with the big gun and spraystick while they run toward you.

A HAM slice and powerup help a lot.

Though, I am sick hearing "Is that a lightsaber?"

Exactly.

Just don't forget about the rifle melee penalty. For that reason alone you might want to carry a CDEF pistol or something to use WarningShot. Otherwise, spray away.

Personally I find the spraystick to be one of my most useful weapons. Not only is the point black modifier smaller than most rifles, but it's extremely fast. Makes it easy to use warning shot safely because if you miss you can throw another one.
