Thread: New commando/BH weps vs T21

after looking at the new stats on commando and BH weps can someone explain why our T21 was recently hit with the nerf bat?


1k-3k 5.2 sec weps? you have got to be having a fcukign laugh....AOE too... oh my.. :/

Ya, it seems REALLY ridiculous, but I am sure if it's that overpowering, it too shall be nerfed

Yeah, those weapons look nasty, but they are limited use weapons. From what I understand, they are going to be an ammo counter on them, i.e. rocket launcher can only be used 10 times, LLC only used 50 times, or something along those lines..


I think they are intended to be anti-vehicle (Read: ATST) and anti-structure weapons.


Well, not the LLC, but the commando ones.

yeah but of course some people will still moan that we spend 100k to get 28 shots to one shot kill in pvp. for the record 8 shots later and i still havent hit.....with HW4

Heavy weapons have all sorts of drawbacks.



Yes they have enormous DPS, but they have charges, slow attack animations (take a knee, put the RL over your shoulder, wait a little and THEN fire, all while not moving) and low accuracy.



You can't really compare them to our weapons straight up like that. Unless the guy is rich he won't be using a RL to take down humans in PvP anyway just because of the charges, not to mention the other problems.



Want to compare our T-21 to a commando weapon? Look at the launcher pistol, that's more like "coventional" weapons.

I agree that Commando Weapons do have some built-in disadvantages we need to consider. If we want the Devs to consider more than just theoretical DPS with the T-21, we need to consider more than just theoretical DPS with the Rocket Launcher.

However, if the primary use of that weapon is AT-ST control, what pray-tell are Imps going to do with it? Other than detonate players, that is?

You know, that always confused me... According to the continuity, aren't the Mon Cal supposed to be some of the best engineers in the galaxy? The Imperials don't like em, being non-human fish heads and all , so they were a sure bet to be sympathetic to the Rebellion. You think they could come up with some Rebel tanks or something...


I guess Imp commandos are going to blow up a lot of reb turrets until more vehicles are introduced..

they said our T-21s was over powered.....



I saw a BH with the first LLC skill doing specials for almost 4k and averageing, mind you averge hits for 1k damage everytime, with a brand new post patch LLC. Thats just with level one LLC skill...


been hearing thata master BH can hit as high as 10k+



How in the helllll do they get that rifleman was over powered ? BHs can now do one hit kills in pvp, I know first hand. My friend is a BH with a brand spanking new LLC and incapped me while testing it out. Hit as much as 1600.....in PVP.



My T-21 just barely got over 300 with headshot3.

I still think the funniest post ever on these riflemen boards was when Holo was talking about the first fixed T21s being capable of a 3k damage 8 second shot, and that making him nervous. Guess he got over his anxiety with the heavy weapons.

doing 11k dmg per hit is no longer unusual, you can see it by just following around a commando or BH now...let me see here...


thats well over 2500 dmg in pvp..plus AoE...couldve sworn the dev's didnt want one hit kills in pvp?

That is absolute HOGWASH -- Heavy Particle Beam cannons with over 3000 max damage and Heavy AP are already selling on my server for 12K. Meaning maybe 400 credits per shot. Ooh, how very expensive! 400 credits for a one shot kill! You're telling me somehow that's NOT overpowered?
