I understand the concept of this bonus, I just want to know how much it increases your speed by exactly. Get about +5 - + 10 of this for each box into rifle. Is +10 = 1 sec..0.1 sec..0.01 sec?

Popular opinion is that speed mods are % based.

Meaning a speed mod of +25 makes you fire 25% faster.

The fastest any weapon can fire (regardless of mods) is 1.0

My apologies to the original author: Please identify yourself if you see this:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

+x speed mod gives a (100 - x)% attack speed
At +50 speed mod, your cdef with 4.0 speed will auto attack at 2.0 seocnds intervals.
At +75 speed mod, your cdef with 4.0 speed will auto attack at 1.0 (4 x (1 - .75)) second intervals
(100-75) = 25% of the original attack speed.
Because of the hard cap at 1s per attack, over +75 mod will be wasted on a 4.0s weapon because you will still attack at 1/second.

Headshot 1 has a 1.5x multiplier over regular auto attacks.
Headshot 2 has a 1.75x multiplier over regular auto attacks.
Headshot 3 has a 2.0x multiplier over regular auto attacks.

9.5s T21 with +60 mod = 3.8s auto attacks (9.5 x 40%)
9.5s T21 with +90 mod = 1s auto attack (9.5 x 10%, but 0.95 is below 1s cap)

9.5s T21 with +60 mod, with headshot3 = 9.5 x 2 x 0.4 = 7.6s
9.5s T21 with +90 mod, with headshot3 = 9.5 x 2 x 0.1 = 1.9s

So I have master marskman and am 2/1/0/1 in rifelman tree. My Rifle Speed modifiers are +45.
This means my 9.6 second T21 should be firing "normal" shots every (9.6 x .55) = 5.28 secs.

Next box (3/1/0/1) will be +55, so T21 will fire every (9.6 x .45) = 4.32 secs.
If I get to 90% Rifle Speed, 9.6 x (.1) = (cap) 1s.

Thanx for the response. If what you say is true that's a huge speed increase, I'm a bit confuced as to why everyone thinks the T21 is to slow then since what you've shown me is that all our rifles will fire in 1s intervals by the time we hit Master Rifleman.

Thanks Flyojumper...
I actually thought it was you, but wasn't positive.

Flyojumper has always had some good insight into the workings of the rifle and, if I remember correctly, also has accumulatedsome excellent info on the speed and damage of all the various shots.

Fly, if ya see this, could you post a link to your latest shot info? (or correct me if i'm wrong... my memory gets worsewith each headshot i take, lol)
