When i first bought SWG i chose to be a rifleman. I went straight up the rifle tree and never have extencivly used any other weapon. well with no guidence this what i've come up with. I have a laser rifle that does 38-478 with an attack speed (sliced w a 30 speed 9 mind and 6 ideal powerup). Nothing to judge how my weapon is but when i show people I get tfe traditional "wow thats nice."

After reading the tips for rifleman post i realised that i must be doing something wrong. I do alright when im in groups but a realy cant solo anything that attacks in packs. I am 1/1/0/1/ into riflemanam also a master scout with 0/1/0/1 into ranger and 0/1/0/0 into CH. Oh and 3 into ranged weapon (i can learn the 4th anytime but was saving the comabt eap for rifle spec).

I dont know what skills to use in what situation. I know that conceal shot is broken and its not just me so i won't use that any more. My biggest hope is for the coming HS3 because i use HS2 alot. I have 1004 mind 600 focus and 499 willpower; I sacrifece quite alot of action (beacuse rifleman don't use it?).

I am out of money from buying crap i dont need and am dying alot. See people with pistols f***ing s**t up and am jelalous as am looking for some advice.

To be a good rifleman you have to learn to use tactics when fighting mobs.

When soloing creatures find a pack that does not group. You need to use your bleeds / headshot / warningshot. The creature will run away for a bit then retun try to get your timing down so you can hit it with another headshot just before it turns back. This will allow you to get a couple headshots in before you need to warning shot it again. Follow this untill the creature is dead.

Human mobs are a bit different. With the changes you cant take high lvl humans as well. For me warning shot does not work on human mobs so I dont stack my mind shots on humans just use Mindshot 2 /headshot 3/headshot 3 then switch to a smaller rifle ( I use a spraystick ) stand / run and spam them with headshot 2 this with the bleeds drops them pretty fast.

My stats are simmilar to yours cant remember the exact amounts but I migrated a load of points to willpower and focus. My mind pool regins almost as fast as i use it.

Try different tactics on stuff you may find a better way. I am also a CH my goal is Rifleman master / CH master. I am currently Rifle 3/00/1 CH 3/2/2/3 using pets I can pretty much solo anything. Use same tactics above just send in pet just before mob comes after me.

Using pets on muliples is easy you can do agressive and non agressive mobs just send in pet first and then pick them off one at a time while your pet tanks.
