Thread: I dodged!

I really, really dodged! It was incredible!
I was lying prone trying to hold my own against a few Tuskens (having just re-acquired Rifleman after the mandatory re-roll that fate and the mother of all Oracle bugs forced on my character), I was sporting a post-nerf T21 and one box worth of Counter-Sniping. A friend and I were punking Tuskens for quick XP. Several of them shot at me. . . and to my utter shock, I rolled to the right while on the ground automatically. It was a nice animation, too. Didn't interrupt my combat queue or anything.
I've done this with other guns, but never with a rifle in hand before. Has anyone else noticed an increase in dodging?

Yeah, I've rolled a couple times. I thought it was a new death animation

WOOT! a new reason to get things to shoot at me!
p.s. (about time, now lets get conceal shot and taking cover working!)

Yeah ive noticed I dodge quite often now. I think they made block=dodge.

I just got my question answered, so thats what block is and do u have to be pron/kneeling?

Forgot this, do i need to have my rifle equiped to block? and if i have melee defense in another profession does it carry over if i have a rifle equiped or do i need my knucklers on?

Yeah, since i have 0 dodge, and Im dodging my best guess is block is owrking as dodge.
Ive dodged standing not jsut prone.

I saw an imp with a flamethrower for the first time abotu a week ago. He ran up onme while I was kneeling and my toon rolled out of the way. I didn't even know we had this ability. i'd never rolled away from anything before this.

You guys sure this is new? I think we were dodging before. It's were you roll to the side or move out of the way of a hit, right? I'm pretty sure I always done this.
