I don't own a T21 and haven't been able to find the damage type. What is it?

Say you have a T21 with max damage 400. With AP=3 going in PvP this should get a +25%, and a +25% increase in damage due to the player AR=1. Guessing that a special by rifleman will do at least 2x the rated max, I estimate the following:

throw on a 30% max damage power up to get max to 530

1060damage * .25 (75% PvP damage reduction), gives 265 damage, figure in the +25% and you have roughly 331 damage, the second +25% gets to 414

Also, advanced specials like Strafe2 and Headshot3 probably do more like 3 x damage, so look like the following:

1590 damage * .25, gives 397, +25%=497, +25%=621

Have heard other riflemen bragging that their speed mods get their base Attack Speed close to 1 second (not sure which weapon or if meant all weapons).

Do these numbers sound right?

Lets see if I can work this out and come out with similar numbers...

T21 with max damage 400 (AP = 3) vs. PvPtargetwith AR1 (no resists)

Max possible damage (Strafe shot 2 has a x5 multiplier):

400 * 1.5 * 5 * 1.25 *1.25 = 4687 * 0.25 = 1171 PvP damage
where
400 = max damage shot from your T21
1.5 = multiplier used on ALL shots in SWG
5 = mulitplier for strafe shot2 special
1.25 * 1.25 = mulitplier for AP3 over AR1
0.25 = reduction for PvP

OOPS! I forgot the 33% Power Up!

T21 with max damage 400 (AP = 3) vs. PvPtargetwith AR1 (no resists)

Max possible damage (Strafe shot 2 has a x5 multiplier):

400 * 1.33 * 1.5 * 5 * 1.25 *1.25 =6234 * 0.25 = 1558 max PvP damage

where....
400 = max damage shot from your T21
1.33 = 33% power-up
1.5 = multiplier used on ALL shots in SWG
5 = mulitplier for strafe shot2 special
1.25 * 1.25 = mulitplier for AP3 over AR1
0.25 = reduction for PvP

Your math is fine but there is one problem. The math assumes that this game dosnt have bugs... At the moment armor piercing dosnt work in PvP. If it did I would be very happy! It would mean us sniper type people would be able to do what we like.
