Ok guys i need your help. Im getting killed at the Dark trooper base on Naboo. I just can't keep up with the Flamethrowers, LLC, Scatter pistol's with 0.1 spd and last ditch. I can't take it anymore. I disbelieve in ditching rifleman becasue i still think it rocks. So i come to you guys for help. My skill is marksmen 4104 Rifleman 3101. I use a laser rifle sliced dmg 5.1 spd and 662 dmg with powerup. with powerup and head 3i can do about 2500 but i rarely use head 3 (2 is indeed the better choice) but if i have muon i go with 3.

I read the post detailing the spd slice and spd power up and it sounds like good idea. I might go with that one.But i was thinking about pimping out a spraystick get a good dmg and with a slice and get a powerup on whichever the slice doesnt do. With head 2 or 3 could this be another alternative or is it like pimping out a pacer...or a gremlin...

If you are in a group composed primarily of non-riflemen and using HS or MS, you are the only one working the mind pool. The key to being able to compete with them is to use high damage Random pool attacks. That way, you are attacking the same pool as they are.

Also, look to an E11. E11's have high low end damage, good base speed, and are AP2! Also, if you are going against targets wearing armor, be aware of their weaknesses. The Jawa is AP1, but it is faster than the Laser, and it does stun damage, which many armored targets are vulnerable to. Taking that same idea, and maxing the speed potential of either weapon will likely be the better route.

Both weapons start with a faster base speed, use less mind, and have a higher low end damage than the Laser. In the short time you will have to fire at each target, this combination, along with attacking the same pools as they, depriving them of hits, will undoubtedly improve your damage output.

If you are hunting in groups you need to get to countersniping 3 as soon as possible. Flushing2 will put you near the top fo the damage dealing. you will get as much if not more exp than a commando or BH. Alternatly use surprise shot.

The thing in group hunting is to hit the same HAM as the majority of the party. Using a high powered random Ham shot is better than concentrating on mind and getting less exp.
