Further testing will be required, but I've been going prone from a run and not warping.

Yeah, it seems to be hit or miss. Sometimes I still warp, other times I don't.

Haven't decided yet if this is an improvement or not. At least when you know it's going to happen *all* the time, you don't even bother to try, and instead find workarounds.

Although maybe not always an option due to reaction time. I find I no longer warp at all, if I appraoch the target to desired range, kneel, stand then go prone. I have been doing this all day and have not warped once. *knock on wood*

I have warped 2x so far and all i the matter of a few minutes apart. Now I have ran the "Full scan" and it downloaded a few files so this may be my culprit. It hasnt done it since. Maybe this will fix it for me. It was even crashing several times. Hopfully this will resolve both issues.

I prone warped once last night. I usually warp every time I go prone, so this is definitely an improvement.

I HAD found a cure for the prone warping, though. Sorry, I don't spend much of my board time in the Rifleman forum, so if this has already been covered, please accept my apologies, but here's a quick fix:

Any of you Rangers and Scouts out there know that there is a certain lag time between when you stop running (or when you stand up, etc) and when you can forage. It's a matter of a few seconds (sorry, I haven't timed it -- I just kind of know when it's safe to forage). If I wait that same amount of time between stopping and going prone, I don't warp. At all. Never.

I'll probably still use the same tactic to avoid even the minor warping that still exists.

I just realized that last post seem a bit contradictory. I was prone warping 100% of the time before IF I didn't wait before going prone.

I was prone warping all over last night. I gave up trying to shoot from prone & just went back to kneeling.

I tried various workarounds including standing still for a while, holding an active target, clearing active target, kneeling first, etc... All still resulted in decent sized warps.

Ihad never ever had this problem before the patch. Now it happens every single time I go prone. I ran fullscan still happens everysingle time. I have max accuracy so hitting is not an issue but you can forget 'take cover' and conceal and all of that. I would seriously like this addressed.

And just my 2 cents, screw workarounds, I wouldn't want a DEV to think we didn't need attention because we could 'work around' our problem. Also, when you have to get up to chase your target back into range there aint much time to 'workaround'.
