Thread: Rifle seems to be greatly improved?

Ok, now I'm not technically a Rifleman, yet, but I'm a Master Marksman and use the rifle a great deal, and only use the carbine and pistol when I have to.

It seems to me that the patch has greatly improved the effectiveness of the rifle.

Before, I would go to a nest, get in ideal range, go prone, line up my shot carefully, wait for the creature to stay still, hit my aim button then my overcharge and get a good hit. That first creature would have maybe half his damage taken out. The poor creature didn't know what hit him. He's searching around for me, and can't find me, and in the meantime, I take my second, sometimes third shot, and he's dead. BUT, all of his friends came after me on the first shot. Miraculously, they knew exactly where I was.

I know this is nothing new to you all, but I wanted to share that since the patch, this problem doesn't happen to me.

Now, I hit the first creature once, his buddies are unaware, and he's looking for me. I hit him twice, he's still looking. I hit him a third time, he's dead. His buddies don't move a muscle. Rinse and repeat, and I've taken out the whole nest without any of them knowing where I am, or hitting me once.

I can even take out a small Imperial outpost without them finding me.

Are you all noticing this?

I know you've all said that the Rifleman prof is broken, and I agreed, but I think this patch has made a HUGE difference.

Rifleman is very fun now. I just mastered friday, and went out to PvP last night: The story is posted elsewhere, and it's crazy.
