What is a popular combat macro for pvp for a Master Rifleman?

I have a /mindshot2;/headshot3;/headshot3, then I hit them with furry2 + flush2, then sf2. The mind shoots kills thier chances of healing themselves, then I focus on their other pool stats.

Not for the MS2,hs3,hs3, or the Flush2,Flurry2 and then I just tap sf2.

I'm not a big PVP'er but I do get involved in the odd scuffle with my P.A and one thing I can definitely say is.

Do Not use long strings of macroed commands in PVP if you want to survive. The reason being is if you start a long string of macro'd commands it can be difficult to get out of when you need that emergency Heal or want to switch to a different strategy.

The only ones I'd maybe consider using are:

/FlurryShot;FlurryShot;SuppressionFire; ( Dizzy / Posture Change Down ) if it works it can Knockdown Dizzy people.

/Heal self; ( Very Handy, just have a stimpack in your inventory for it to work )

And if you like wearing armor you can create An Armor on / Armor off macro which I find fairly useful. I just don't have it handy to post for you but I'm pretty sure that if you do a search on the forums you'll find one somewhere.

I have a macro that equips a gun that was built specifically for range mods and then fires 2 flushingshot2's in order to stick a stun and lower defenses on targets. I used to string that with an equip jawa and fire headshot 3 a couple times but found it too debilitating to have that much in my combat queue if conditions change. If you have any melee, run your COB macro and if you have doc run your heal state/poison/disease macro. After that, Onichi's point to keep long strings out of your queue is most important.

One good command to know for macros is

/ui action clearCombatQueue

It clears your queue.

You can put this at the start of any macro and it will dump all the commands you have queued and run the new ones.

The problem with macroing the Dizzy with Suppression fire is that the posture change is on a 30 second timer. If the Dizzy does not stick, but the posture change does, you have just cost yourself 30 seconds without a chance to apply the posture change again. I personally would not bother macroing this. Queue up a few /Flurryshot2 (or /Flurryshot1), then watch for the Dizzy indicator. If it does not show up, queue up a couple more, then check again. When the dizzy icon shows up, then try the /SuprressionFire.

And Onichi is correct, you do want to have a heal self macro if you have medic. But since the heal queues (although it does not show up in the queue at present), you want to clear the combat queue before the heal to makes sure it takes effect quicker. So the macro to do this would be:

/ui action clearCombatQueue;

/healdamage self

If you want to be able to heal others, you can have another one that does:

/ui action clearCombatQueue;

/healdamage

The first will heal you no matter what is targeted. The second will heal the target. So you target the person you want to heal, then execute the macro. If nothing is targeted, the macro will work like a heal self.

Macro's I use:

/prone; /takecover - actually I don't really use it, but I have it because what it does is take away the tumbling state from takecover, since you don't get the tumbling state when you go to takecover from prone

/flurryshot2; /flurryshot2 - to make a target dizzy, find it usually takes more than one

/suppressionfire1; /suppresionfire1; - rarely does this actually make the target change postures, but for Dizzy/KD I hit my Flurry macro till they're dizzy then hit my SuppressionFire macro till they fall down, so basically I have a riflemans usual KD/Dizzy macro seperated into two so that I'm not dedicated to firing shots I don't want to

/equip VK; /unarmedknockdown1; /equip Laser Rifle - not really a rifleman macro, but if you get TKA 0 1 0 0then you can use the first KD. I first use my flurry macro to get them dizzy then use this to KD'em. Just got KD though so not sure how well this works in real battles, but I've tested it in fake duels and the mechanics of it work at least.

/equilibrium; /vitalize - again not really a rifleman macro but definately a nice one for Zabrak rifleman. Everyone forgets we have vitalize, which only gives 50 to H/A/M, but it can't hurt so I added in vitalize to my equilibrium one.

I used to have a food one too but now I use so many different foods I can't fit it in my hotkey pane. Any one have any help for setting up a macro to eat food from inventory or to eat food from a different pane fast (I have one that switches to hotkeypane 2, and I need to select5 slots for all the food, but it doesn't eat/drink any of the food except the first unless I put a pause1 in, which makes it take way too long for me.
