I've never really gotten the hang of HAM setups and with my new character I will be trying something new for me. I will be going Master Rifleman/Master Swordsman in the hopes of striking a good balance between PvP and PvE. How should my HAM be setup to best help me? Please try not to take buffs into account as I would like to have a good setup without absolutely having to be buffed all of the time.
If anyone can come up with a better idea for balance between PvP and PvE I'd love to hear them. I just figured I needed amelee weapon to go with my ranged.
Thanks in advance.

Someone will be more able to help you if they know what species you are. The differences between them all can be quite great

I'm a human master combat medic future master rifleman and i have my stats as follows

both substats 400
action 400
both substats 400
mind 1100
focus 1100
willpower 800
and i still think i don't have enough with this and two 400+ brandies.

well, this 400/400/.... setup is only for buffs.. and tbh, the only effective one.. as rifleman (and as any other class) you just cant spam any attack without maxing your mind..

Any decent Rifle is going to have an absurd mind penalty any time you use a special. Literally you are kicking yourself in the face anytime you overcharge. If you are using the Rifleman half of your Rifleman/swordsman then you will need a maxed out mind and both willpower and focus also maxed. Also you are going to need at least the mind buff of the brandy if you plan on entering anyengagement where you plan on wearing a helment. My rule of thumb is, if they are going to get to attack after I get off my three free shots usually four while they are charging my position I definately use at least one brandy.
