Thread: How to deal with the huge mind pools?
So people you used to own firing HS3 with the Jawa Ion now will be much tougher to kill.

Thanks, know about that too though, I barely wear any armor that doesn't have 20% or more stun protection ![]()
Infact most of the time I start out with my Laser Rifle and if I notice that's not doing as much damage as it should I'll switch to my Jawa, because often times even if someone only have a small % stun resistant armor my Laser's extra damage makes up for it.
Maybe I'm just not back into the swing of things yet.
Nevertheless, Ranged Damage Mitigation absolutely murders the Laser Rifle, and in my opinion there is absolutely no reason to use it in PvP.
As far as dealing with large mind pools, use Foods and Drink to get your focus up to and over 1500, and you wont lose your mind to your own shooting at all ![]()
See this is why CM's rule PVP it has nothing to do with their power.
I'm a Master Weaponsmith now(I specialize in Rifles) out of the 8 rifles I can make only two have any real value in PVP(Jawa & T-21). Now even the Jawa is starting to become a worthless weapon(thank you 40% + Stun protection).
Armor is way too powerful, 1 suit should not be 80% effective verse 7 damage types and 40% effective verse the last damge type. Hell weaponsmiths have been nerfed to hell really if you think about it, most of the weapons we can make are pathetic when compared to just one suit of armor.
How come I'm forced to use1 predetermined damage type for my weapons, when an armorsmith can have 8 diffrent damage types protected on their 1 suit of armor? Does that make sense?

Last I hear AP was still not working in PvP, but most importantly a Laser Rifle is medium AP and a T21 is heavy AP, while composite armor is only Light, so both go right through it.
unfortunitly, thats now how armor piercing works. You simply gain a 25% bonus for each AR thats over the enemys. For instance a T-21 will gain a 50% bonus in someone in composite, or a 75% bonus with someone without armor at all. However, the resists that are listed on the armor ALWAYS apply, no matter the situation.
Now that you know the bonuses the negatives for using a weapon with reduced AP are 50% per AP. which means a AP 0 weapon vs a heavy armor mob like a nightsister elder is 150% reduced damage.
