Thread: HELP!! I NEED EVERYONE IN THIS FORUM TO READ AND HELP ME. I JUST MIGHT BE STUCK.

See if you can find a player city with an Improved Job Market. It gives a little extra money. If you are Smuggler also slice the mission terminal.
If you are a Master Rifleman do some Piket missions and use StrafeShot2. You can clear the lair pretty quick. Harvest the Pikets and sell them to Armorsmiths (hides) or Chefs (meat). Whatever you kill harvest and sell. Sell fairly cheap and it will sell quick. It will help.

There's missions on other planets besides Dantooine.
You should be grinding doing Savage Quenker missions or so, though - they die in 3 shots, roughly.
BTW: I never used buffs when i ground rifleman, nor did i get hit. Brandy. that's it.

I'd say, find a TKM to tank two ER missions on dath, that will get you 37k. if you're on the Gorath server give me a tell (mike-) and I'll tank for you, that will be enough to get three buff sets. I'm sure if you don't happen to be on gorath you'll still be able to find a freindly TKA. good luck with that.

Join a group...you get some of the money and after a decent group hunt you can make up to and not limited to 100-150k.

i find this thread extremely amusing.
before the days of super composite and uber doctor buffs. People actually had to hunt unarmored and unbuffed..... *gasp* hard to concieve nowadays isnt it? heh.
Rifles dont need armor nor buffs if you have the right weapon in your hands. conceal shot is there for a reason, not to mention alot of mobs will drop in 1-3 shots which if your kneeling or prone, they will never aggro you.
my suggestion to you is, if your out of cash, find a group to join, grab a couple of missions that they are doing and then stay back and pick off mobs, in no time your bank account will be back in good standing and you will be able to afford new armor and buffs etc.

Why not go and do the Imp themepark or the Jabba themepark. Easy as pie and they both provide alot of loots you can sell for nice cash

I did pretty much all rifleman unarmoured and unbuffed and at least the 1st few rows without brandy. I did faction missions and (as soon as I had it) used conceal shoot (always with aim 1st) It took time but I could take down a mission solo without too much risk. Sometimes I'd a miss a couple and then have to run like hell, but that was fun. And since they bought in the no item decay on factional deaths, it must be even safer to do that.
Its a bit slower for exp, but its safer and I was never short of money doing that. And I made a load of Fp's as well.
Its a bit worrying if people are relying on buff for Pve now, we've had PvP spoiled by buffs. It seems Pve will go that way too.

Ok.....
Heres the story. I was out working on the Master Sniping box, with fresh buffs. I decided to see if i could solo huge game on Dantooine, like Graul Maulers and Thunes, since i was getting tired of Pickets. So.... i soloed both types and kick ass.
Right?
Heres the bad part.
During a mission of Thunes, my mind was goin down like crazy. So i chugged 2 brandies and was in the process of eating a synthsteak, when i was incapped and i was slain. Brand new buffs. GONE.
Now heres my dilemma; I dont have enough money for buffs. AND, my armor (Composite) has decayed to 37% resists! Everyone tells me that my armor is done, and if i repair it, it will fail, and I wont have armor. Now.... if i try to get money, I have to do missions. But, i cant take the creatures without buffs, since I dont have enough money for them. And even if I did, my armor wont help worth a damn if its 37%, so what do I do?
Im not gonna go begging for credits, but I think i just might have to go and do that..... damn....
Please help me. I really need help and I think I just might be too far into a hole.

Sorry mate but you are going to have to do just regular missions on starter planets until you can get enough money to get buffs again. Might try to get an armoursmith to repair your armour, good luck with that. That is about the only tips I can give you, we have all been there and yes it sucks but you don't have to dohigh dollar missions to make money. Also look at delivery missions that is money without fighting.

Your armour might be done it might not. Armoursmiths have a little better chance of repairing it - but they'll likely ask you for cash to do that too. I'd suggest finding the best rated kit you can and picking a day you feel lucky to try a repair. If it breaks you're SOL, if not you've got your armour back.
On Dantooine there are really easy missions that you could take to get your cash back. Lesser bol lairs are 2Kish. Five runs of those and you're looking at 20K (two missions per run) - that's enough for 2 sets of buffs on my server (average).
Your other optionsare to discover some of the skill it takes to be a good rifleman. You can kill things even without buffs and armour, it just takes some thinking and changing your tactics. Or you could join a non-solo group to get in on some payments. Or get a friend to help you out one night by tanking for you or something.
Lots of options.
