I just started novice rifleman and have a question about conceal shot. now to use it i go prone and spam conceal shot right? if im prone can i use other shots like mind1 or head 2 and not be detected or is it only with conceal shot that they not see you when you hit them?

It is only concealshot where they will never aggro, unless you miss. But you also do not have to go prone with concealshot, prone just gives you more accuracy and less chance to aggro when you do miss.

oh ya one more question. how exactly do power ups work. as a commando we dont have any so i never used them before. is it you buy it and drop it on you weapon like a skill tape on clothes or what?

yep, just drag and drop, they work for 100 shots.
