where have you been, under a rock?

I use two main weapons in PvP.

Jawa Ion Rifle
DXR6-b


The Jawa is the standard rifle - I look to see the numbers over their heads when I hit. If its less than about 60 or I'm missing a lot, I switch to the DXR6b.

If it's less than 60, they may very well be using a Shield Generator and have tweaked their defences for Stun weapons. Shield Generators are vulnerable to Acid which is where the DXR6b comes in. (Also its a Krayt Jawa. no point wasting condition on a really expensive gun!) Unless they've bought the very best armour sets and sliced them to get the very best effectiveness you might find acid more effective than you might think.

(If you come across a person with that sort of stuff, dont be worried about trying and loosing. Be polite and ask them afterwards (if there isnt more fighting) if they might have any tips. it's a game there is such a thing as friendly rivalry. A lot of the highest level PvP comes down to equipment and credits. Every server has their uber-fencer with the Acklay Baton or rifleman + mind-fire-dot Jawa)

If I'm missing a lot, the DXR6b has a +95 @ 50m modifier. With a bit of Citrus Snow Cake (accuracy modifying food) and a burst run away, hopefully you'll be able to get a stun state on your opponent and keep whitling down their mind.

Comp armor is only AR1 so you don't suffer the 50% reduction with a jawa that is AP1. You just break even.

Lately I've been finding that more and more people in PVP have Stun helmets, my jawa doesn't seem to be doing alot of dmg, the jawa I'm using is fairly decent dmg (400+).

The T-21 (700+)seems to be packing more punch , I think it's because alot of those stun helmets out there don't have the best stats on the other resistances (that and the extra AP).

But like the other guys said, watch the dmg you're doing, if you don't seem to be doing much, switch rifles.

The Best Rifle Ive been able to get made for me with Krayt Tissue is: 187-653 at like 5.2 speed (Jawa)
This thing Shreds in pvp so my suggestion is the Krayt Hunt for a week with friends.
Sell the Lower tissues and Pearls or give to friends. Keep the 100+ stuff for pvp weapons

I too think Krayted Jawas are worth it, although they go for millions of credits I couldn't afford one- personally I'm not a PVP'er but I do it with friends and guildies occasionally so I use my 7.5 200-633 T21 or 4.1 181-344 +111 ideal DXR6b (I also have a 5.6 167-408 85% wound DXR6b).

Nice gun. Don't think I'd like facing you with that.

As far as getting tissues, become a krayt killer. 2 people, 1 master melee tank and 1 speed-capped master riflemen can kill krayts quickly and without much danger. If you keep the crew small, you split loot easier and will eventually get the tissues you want for a good gun. If you only play a couple hours a day, you can still kill a couple krayts and find the loot you want.

I use the Jawa only for PvP Scatter shot 2. So i nail many enemy at once
