I kept hearing rumors that this was changing from no pierce to medium (or at least higher than no piercing). I could not find any info in that last several pages here. Does anyone have any insight on a possible change so that this rifle is useful?

Light AP would be nice, medium very nice. I would settle for light, and barrels that allow for factory runs.

Nerf cryers opinions aside, this rifle is useless against every mob in the game with about 2 exceptions. Give it AP1 and I think it'll retain its current status more or less. Give it AP2 and you can put it anywhere you want in the Rifleman tree for all I care(even Master- I'd probably encourage it

). At that point, it would actually be useful. AP3 is likely too much, but who knows? Heat isn't the best damage type, but I wouldn't push too hard for another AP3 weapon(well, maybe one more

AP3 isn't bad... The rifle looks big anyway

Right now it has enough heat armor piercing to cook me some grilled cheese sammiches.

The berserker rifle is not worth the trouble to get it other than as a nice looking trophy. With few high end npc's having any vulnerability to heat and with no AP at all to speak of you're better off with an E-11

Cant even use the darn thing in PvP....well at least I got a DXR-6b
