If you can spare the points pick up CH and get the highest ham bio pet you can find. Get buffed and go to Dath. Kill whatever you see. When your high enough in Rifleman just look for Mutant Rancor's you will get all the xp you need. I also picked up Scout sp I could harvest and sell the meat/hide.

I would hunt gurks on Lok (that is what I did). But I was master doctor so I could buff myself, but I had no armor, so you may want to do something else.

I enjoyed the Canyon Corsair POI on Lok myself - you get about 4.5k-5k per kill and what is best is that they are all ranged.

Get yourself an AOE attack and see the xp roll in... The respawn rate around there is great too - I was going with doc+music buffs and netting about 500-600k in a 2 hour session (found that DXR-6b is the way to go as low acid resists - be prepared to ruin your gun though.. even withgood repairs, mine is now in need of replacement)

Also let me have fungetting into the sniper role too.. great fun overall.

Since i still didn't see anyone offer assistance to you, questioner...

  1. Grind to Marksman 3000 around your favorite Newbie town (Mos Eisley is my favorite, and i slide outwards as i level). Use a Good high damage DLT20 or DLT20a (ignore speed). Make sure you damage powerup it after Rifles 2, and basically, just kill kill kill. If you lie prone, you can get 3 free shots before the enemy attacks back.

  2. After reaching Marksman 3000, break out your newly-qualified Spraystick (once again, damage over speed) and go with a group to a nice spot. I did my time in Fort Tusken, spamming HeadShot2. Get yourself some fine armor to wear, and just spam away. Do this from Rifles 3 to Novice Rifleman (it's a LONG trek).

  3. After reaching Novice Rifleman, it becomes so easy it's silly. Get yourself (for a third time) a DAMAGE-Sliced T-21 (actually, get 2). Go to Dantooine, and take either Huurton or Quenker (Savage or normal) missions from any planet. Go solo. Get into a Solo Group so you can spike your XP intake. Lie prone, make sure you have that rifle powered up, and fire off those headshots. One the lair, switch to your 2nd T-21 and use Overcharge Shot. IF you get aggroed by a mob, stand and switch to your spraystick and spam HeadShot

  4. Repeat step 3 all the way to Master (if you play a lot, it takes 2 days.)

  5. Go up the Sniping Tree first for accuracy, then whichever you want else

Alternate method (if you have a tanking buddy, or a tank droid):

  • After novice Rifleman go to Counter-Sniping 3. After you get Flushing Shot 2, get your tanking partner to tank massive amounts of mobs while you spam FlushingShot2. It's an AOE, so you hit everything, and can drop huge groups in short order. Doing this method, Rifleman can take a day.

And mostly, good luck
