so is this forum bug with the tab key!

anyway...

I'm hunting Pereleks on Lok 'cause the avian meat is awesome. I'm doing well when all of a sudden its just me and a Perelek baby ... then my Laser Rifle stops firing. Just Plain Stops.

I switch to my Spraystick hoping it might jump the system back (meanwhile I'm standing there pointing my rifle at the perelek and doing NOTHING). My combat window is completely ignoring me just tell me what the perelek is doing. I'm taking damage like wo and this little twerp isn't getting hit.

Switch to my E11 still nothing.

Switch back to my laser rifle ... still nothing.

At this point I've traveled through most of a buff.

In desperation I go bareknuckled to maybe do some damage before I get incapped by a baby perelek ... a master riflemanincapped trying to solo a baby perelek... and still nothing.

HAM fading it happens I throw a punch... thank god. Throw up my T21 and ice the little monster.

Phew!

This scenario has happened to me NUMEROUS times over the past few weeks and I'm really getting annoyed. Anyone know what's causing it or how I might fix it? For some reason my end of combat completely stops. I know others are experiencing it.

i think i know whats happening cause it has happened to me with rancors. it is very anoying. it tends to happen when i'm spamming strafe shot 2 and being attacked by at least 4 at a time. unequipping then equipping my wepon normally helps

Since attaining Master Rifleman I've been spamming less and less. One thing I that forced my hand on this was the recent destruction of a brand new T21.

Whiledoubling up mystrafeshot2 on a giant kimo I ran out of mind, my buffs and food crashed at the same time. Needless to say I got the old "You do not have enough points" thingie. Anyway... after the second shot gave the same message (and my combat Queu was completely empty) the message popped up again... and again... and again.

2 minutes later of me pushing peace repeatedly and trying to disarm myself I got my favorite. "you're weapon is now below 50%" thingie. Great.... a 2 hour old T21 shot because of a combat glitch.

Anyway... now I only use specials when its an emergency. I'm killing plenty of things so long as my rifle fires. and more when I throw out a special... but only if the rifle fires. Like I said switching weapons eventually works... but not after a few minutes of being completely helpless.

Had a really weird experience on Dant yesterday...

I was spamming Headshot 2 at a Quenker (not wearing armour yet), when he and his mate rush over and start beating on me. So hit the armour macro, and... nothing happens ! Try to equip armour manually, and... nothing happens ! Meanwhile, my combat queue is empty, rifle won't fire, and the quenkers are eating through my buffs at speed. So I run.

The quenkers stay put, I swim a river and put 250m between me and the mobs, and... I'm still taking damage like I was back there with them, lol ! Then the rifle fires, I get lucky and drop 1 mob (@ 250m, this works ?). The other one stops attacking. I'm now sitting down, 250m from the second quenker, regenerating health, etc. I still cannot unequip rifle, puton armour manually, or basically get anything to work except movement and viewing items. 15 minutes later (checked the combat spam timings) my armor macro suddenly kicks in !

By this time I'm thoroughly spooked, so I relog. Cool ! Still have my full health buffs, AND my stomach is completely empty. However, the buff icons are gone, so I have no idea how much buff is left. Went back to the mining outpost and chilled untill the buffs wore off.

Bugged or What ?

System lag and connection errors may also be the cause of it. Even with a T-1 a severe packet loss or connection error will freeze you on the screen. If you come back with "not enough pool points" theres a good chance this was the problem.

I get this one occasionally yeah. The server keeps taking your issued commands but your computer doesn't recieve the feedback for upto a couple minutes. Then WHAM a whole mob is down and you're just breathing heavy.

Or you're down and their having lunch.

happens to me all the time, ifusing strafe2. now i don't keep more than4 of them in my cue - and it still happens on occasion. only happens tho, if the lair defenders get to me and engage in melee with me - ranged doesn't cause this to happen it seems. if they all hover around the lair and haven't gotten to me yet it's fine.

I've got another crazy Dant story for ya guys. I'm out running Janta missions going for cash. Fully buffed and fully armored. I've done this thousands of times as I'm sure many of you have so you know it's completely harmless. Then all of the sudden on one of the missions I just fall over dead. I'm still buffed, at full health, and there is nothing wrong with my armor.I'm just laying on the ground with the corpse symbol next to all three of my full HAM bars.

Depending on how fast your computer is, disconnect and reconnect, should be back to norm *have had this bug many times, rancors, pikets, riding on my BIke!! explain that lol ( i couldnt get off it/ store, anything)
