I'm just wondering... is it worth it to buy a T21, versus just sticking with the laser rifle for now? The T21 is bugged from what I hear, but even so, is it stronger than the laser rifle (average dmg/second)? Just curious what all the experienced riflemen have to say.

Ya ill have to agree the t21 is situational for me as well. Since the peircing bonus does'nt do anything in pvp for us I use the t21 in pvp. Against mobs I use a t21 for the bleeds and then switch to a laser to do headshots or strafeshot 2 attacks. The laser will actually outdmg a t21 in pvm because of the ar2 peircing bonus, once they fix the t21 it will be far superior in pvm.

I have both a T21 and a Laser Rifle (both damage sliced) and I've found the T21 to be somewhat situational at this point. I typically solo, so your mileage may vary. Against anything 5k+ hps I'll mindshot2 / mindshot1 with the T21, highest combined bleed I've had was 3k (2600 mindshot 2, 1400 mindshot 1). That was with a 32% max dmg powerup so the T21 was at 705 max dmg.

Since the first two shots at long range while prone are basically "free" shots, I can take down 10k hp mobs. I do have a tiny bit of creature handler so on humanoid mobs I'll mindshot 1/2, send in pet, switch to laser rifle, and spam headshot 2's or 3's. I use the laser rifle for the bonus dmg from ar2, once the T21 gets fixed I'll probably just use the laser rifle for low hp mobs that I want to go through quickly like 1k or less hps. If it's a creature mob I typically don't send in the pet so that I get the full exp (warning shot is your friend).
