I would agree with you Eltestor but maybe for different reasons..

I still love the class but if you're not 1/2 up the right hand side of the tree your sorta hooped on speed and our server doesn' t have many T21's last time i checked.

As for PvP.. i have yet to win a PvP against any profession with knockdown. But i can give them a nasty head bleed which will eventually kill them if they don't get patched up.I only have flurry 1 that gets them mildly light headed but doesn't do much unless they change position not to mention I do more damage to my HAM then the enemy (lol).

In PvE Riflemen are great but still need a meat shield so i had to grind out CH cause droids are now useless.

I'm happy with rifleman. its fun but it's not as powerful as BH and you can't solo big stuff that attacks in packs (2K+) at lower level unless your with someone cause your guaranteed to agro the whole lot of them after the first miss or failure to one shot kill. But I've learned to live with that.

Well I have been a master rifleman for about a week or so and I find it funny some of the people on this forum act like we are the most gimped class ever. The only problems I have with the class are ham costs beeing to high and defense skills need boosting (every class in the game needs more defense imo).

In pvp I have incapped 4 players with 1 attack, strafe shot. I hit anywhere from 2200-3500 AE dmg in 1 shot with my sliced t21. Not only can I do this much dmg in 1 shot I am able to fire it about 1 time every 2 seconds. Even with a 75% dmg nerf I can still hit for 800 or so every 2 seconds....if that is gimped you must be crazy. As for missing more often then a pistol user, I hardly miss at all. In fact in the pvp raid I did last night I did'nt miss even a single strafe shot. Sure I was'nt at melee range when I attacked but I was'nt at ideal range either.

Sure rifleman is'nt a perfect class but some of the people that complain about the proffession are WAY off base.

You/re right, rifleman doesnt suck but the power gap between a master and anything below is HUGE, most people simply haven't gotten there yet, and a lot get discouraged because just looking at the skill tree and reading the skill descriptions master doesnt seem to do much. I know i felt invincible for a while after hitting master lol.
