Thread: Pistol Range is the same as Rifle?
Ok, I enjoy me rifle.
But I'm not a combat class. Mostly I'm an architect. However, I've made it about halfway up to Novice Rifleman just on the daily commute to my harvesters. I've been enjoying my rifle a lot lately,but I picked it so I could be as far away from the claws and fangs as possible. I used to get eaten a lot.
Mindshot seems tobe best on PVP since the mind damage can't be fixed. I mostly just use HS2.
However, I have utterly NO interest in PVP. I am strictly PVE. Sorry, that's just me.
If the maxrange is the same as a pistolthere any real advantage of rifle for me? I don't see me dropping it, but I am curious. I may not continue up the tree after novice, if no however.
Perhaps I should go with carbine since I do a fair amount of running and shooting?
Your thoughts?
Well... I run and shoot alot too. i dont actually seem to miss all that much when i am moving. i do miss when the creature starts to get close to me. Thats when i pull out a faster rifle to hit Warningshot, like the Spraystick or E11.
