Well here's basically the deal.
My friend bought 7 Pieces of 108 plus Krayt tissue for 9.5 Million credits, now she's going to be putting it into a Jawa ion cannon. I would just like to know why our Rifles decay so fast? Were Masters of a profession, and surely as we move up we learn how to handle our rifles in a better way. And then there's the 50% chance of it repairing i just see no point in spending money on good items, which go int our Rifles which can be ruined so easily.
When will the Repair system possible be revamped? And when will our condition of a Rifle, not decay so fast just like a lightsaber.

Yeah it sucks but if you have ever played an artisan profession (I am not talking about hologrinding it either) then you understand that it is a necessary pain. I was a DE and the only things we could sell alot of were the probe droids because they were the only disposeable items we could make. The way weaponsmiths and armorsmiths have it is very nice, and I would have to say that weapon damage needs to stay they way it is.

I have no problem with paying to have my weapons repaired, it's just if you get it repaired before it hits half condition it should be a 100% full repair. And as the repair number gos up, the less chance of a full repair. Do you see what i'm saying?

I think that is fair. I would also say that I dont think that the use of powerups should degrade your weapon faster.

I agree, it think Weaponsmiths should be able to experiment on powerups, slowing down your condition degrading on your weapon.
Here's how i think the condition should be.
First repair if above 50% = 100% repair
Second repair if above 50% = 100% repair
3rd repair if above 50% = 80% Etc etc
And if anyone lets there weapon go pass the 50% mark then there's smaller chances of a full repair.

You kiddin? I go through nearly two Rifles a week. As the devs put more and more challenging content into the game, i.e. The Geo Cave, I burn through Rifles like Muon and Brandy.

It definitely is a pain that rifles decay so fast. I think its fair though. It is something that you have to deal with. Every profession has something like this in it i think.

The repair system was apparently changed in publish 7. Except the devs insist that it wasn't. There is a rather large data set indicating that the chance for a "minor blemishes" repair (5% condition loss, the best possible result) is only 15% now. ~75% of repairs will reduce condition by 20%, and the rest will reduce by 35% or crit fail and destroy the weapon.
So, if you have some weapon that you really like, don't get it repaired until this gets fixed.

They only decay fast cause you got them sliced.Ive had my laser rifle since i was at rifles 2 in marksman and its still at 500 condition (till i just got it sliced) now it went down to 250 condition in about 1 day.So if you want a good weapon to last dont slice it.

Slicing doesn't affect decay rate.
Powerups and overcharge shot do.

I'm just saying.I did alot of PVP today and my Tenlos rifle has decayed already by 60 condition. Just seems alot. And i've been MBH, TKM, MF, MSM and MC. I still think Rifles decay alot faster.

If you want to prove something, then go do a proper controlled test, not this "I've done this and this and this and I reached some completely invalid conclusion for the sole reason that it would benefit me right now" crap.
