Thread: Question on Flushing Shot 1. . .

Qualified for it last night, but I'm wondering. since it is singel, and Fluhsing Shot 2 is area. Will it hel me in my leveling or shouldI just continue up the Sniper line?

It may help. Remember it can cause a Stun state. That lowers the targets defenses, makes them miss one turn, and lowers their damage. So it could be of some help. Especially for those pesky melee types that get into melee range and are hard to hit. It will be easier to hit them if they are Stunned.

Jeez, my typing is atrocious. :-) So, it may be of help, eh? Of course, every MR and their brother is saying get Flushing Shot 2 ASAP. I graduated from quenkers to pikets on Dant last night so I'll see what happens. Thanks. :-)

Our profession isn't just about AOE's ^_^ flushing 1 can help lots - is a very under rated attack and one of ourmore useful single target attacks.
we tend to forget that we do have single target attacks that are useful at higher levels cause of the large advantages our AOE's give. Shots such as Flushing 1(stun),flurry 1(dizzy), Surprise shot(highest single target damage multiple), Headshot(1-3(which is one of the single target attacks we still use at high levels because of the targeted pool hit)), strafe, supression(posture change)all are important parts of our arsenal and we tend to sell them short - they are alluseful

Agreed Ackehece.
All rifleman should understand the usefulness of the non-AOE attacks simply because there are places -- corvette, dwb -- where AOEs will bring much unwanted attention. While the damage multipliers on the single target attacks are not as high, and let face it thats what people love about the AOEs, the damage multiplier associated to 10 mobs beating you down when you toss an AOE on the corvette is higher yet.

grinding rifles myself and decided to go countersniping 3 for flushing 2 and so glad i did.
the xp amounts went way up. got sniping 4 done in about an hour on group hunts for naffs.
