Thread: Stealth T21 nerf?
Hi all,
Didn't see any posts about this scanning the boards post-patch, so here's my comment.
In the latest patch, the notes state that a max of 10 loot items can be dropped from a mob. I assume this includes Krayt tissue. So how is this a nerf? Well it takes 11 tissues to create a krayt T21. 1 for the schematic and 10 for the actual gun. So unless you have a stash of 11 pre-patch tissues (with the same serial number, ie dropped from the same krayt) you'll never have the option of putting one of these bad boys together. Many will of course say it's a waste to use that many tissues on one gun, or that T21's arent worth it anyway. I completely dissagree with both these points of view. The T21 is supposedly the gun every rifleman should want, and it's what makes the rifleman "competitive" with other advanced professions with their elite weapons. This is obviously arguable in practice.But going through the immense effort of acquiring the necessary tissues and getting a gun made was one strategy a rifleman could use to make himself more competitive against a commando's or BH's insane damage hits. But apparently this is an imbalance in the game, and the devs have nerfed that potential.
