Thread: When did the T21 become Energy instead of Blast?

I haven't been playing with my Rifleman character much in the past couple of weeks, but I always pay attention to patch notes. Yesterday, I was allowed onto Bloodfin to play, but not my other server, so I pulled out my T21 and went hunting. I did notice that the damage was significantly lower, and when I glanced at my T21 it was dealing Energy damage.

The last time I checked a few weeks ago, the T21 was dealing Blast damage...and there was never any mention of the change in any patch notes that I've seen. Does anyone know when it was switched, or was this a stealth nerf?

It has always been Energy as far as I'm aware. Certainly, it has been Energy as long as I've had mine (2-3 weeks now).

I never knew anything of it, and if it did use to be blast, they changed it so that we could not damage AT-STs very much.

Well, I know at least a month ago it was blast damage. I was excited when I heard that ATSTs would be vulnerable to blast damage, because it meant that Riflemen and 2-Handed Swordsmen would be able to deal damage to an ATST, in addition to Commandos.

Does anyone actually know when this switched, or was this a stealth nerf that nobody noticed?

Power Hammer does blast damage.
