Is it worth it? They say that the new patch the weapon smiths with have an advantage to repair rifles. With t21 running 30-40k they are to expensive to just 'break' so they say repair when they are at 60% but I have broke 4 t21 and repaired one with repair kits that run around 96%. Am I just unlucky or should I try a cheaper rifle? Is the lasers rifle better than the t21 then with just weaker armor piercing quality?

Repairing has always been screwy and damaged weapons, destroyed, or fixed them. I find good repair kits on the bazaar for about a 1000 credits. I will buy a couple repair kits and a few damaged cdef weapons. I repair them until I get a failure, then repair my main gun.

It has worked with only a few decreases in my weapons quality. Who knows how it works now, but I have had the same T-21 for about two months now. Maybe I have just been lucky.
