Thread: Solo Hunting Ideas?
Okay so I've been slowly working up my 2-1-1-1 rifleman. Before yesterdays patch I used to be able to solo Naboo Bolle Bols using traps, kites or my rock beetle. At 2-3K xp per it was a challenge but worthwhile. However now they BAF and if you try to pull one your more likely dealing with 5 and an incap.
I like this game but I have a life (kids, wife, etc...) and I simply can't devote hours of uninterupted time necessary to form effective hunting parties. I prefer to solo hunt. Now that Bolle Bols are taken away from me I'm wondering what is left? Since Bolle Bols are now BAF I can only assume they also did this to Fambaas and Tat Brontos.
If anypone knows of good animals that bring in 2-3K that don't BAF for someone to try and solo chime in. This patch spoiled my Bolle Bol hunting.
There is a post in the Scouting forum where this was noticed also. The correspondent there did not see that behavior on TC, and thinks it might be a bug. I hope so! If I come across the post I will link it here.

Hey i know everyone hates filling in the clueless guy, but gimme a break...they screwed up AP? and what is this 8 or 9 percent reduction in your combat spam damage? If anyone could just tell me, and not be a huge douche bag, baout me not knowing..I would appreciate it...these forms have made me so jaded...hehe

AP = Armor Piercing - check out the armor guide if you need more info about that.
combat spam damage is the post resistances amount of damage you do to your target. this takes in armor, resistances, and AP.

Each boxyou move up the rifleman tree, youget better missions from the mission terms. I am 4/2/4/3 and have leveled almost exclusively on Tatooine. I cant remember exactly which missions I got when, but when I was approximately your level whenI started getting the following good missions out of Bestine:
Disclaimer: In case you didn't know, you get more XP per kill if you are grouped. So I bought a probot, group with it, and make it stay in town while I go out hunting. That way I get the group XP all to myself. The following values, therefore,are higher than strictly solo.
-- Matriarch Bantha lairs: each spawn was a Matriarch (3300+), and maybe one or two Bulls (2000+)
-- Mountain Squill lairs: I still like these. Per spawn you get one mountain squill (4500+) and one regular squill (not worth as much, maybe 1000).
-- Some of the Dewback lairs spawn dewbacks that are 2200+ each. But dewbacks in general are nastier than I like my animals.
Anyway, sometimes it takes me 3-4 minutes to find these missions, but I usually can. Sometimes I have to refresh the mission terms like 20 times. The good news is that usually they are also the highest paying missions. Currently they pay 3600-5200 credits aside from having the good XP.
