Thread: Wait they changed Commando damage :) Now they are ranged, no longer Melee YAY

They did manage to fix the commando's damage to ranged now So if our mods work as they should we shouldnt be one hit wonders by commando's anymore.


Has anyone noticed a difference in PvP with Commando damage on you as a riflemen?

Haha. As well as changing commandos to ranged they seem to have also added a 2.5 melee modifier to them.

Yes they have the 2.5 mod. lol read their boards it reminds me of our boards like a month ago..... lol its funny really I've been posting on there laughign at them lol I'm still laughing now!

What is going to suck is when they whine enough that they get rid of it and we're stuck with it.

I can kill a pistoleer, and now they they changed the damage to ranged for commando's I can kill them easier now, I was able to doit before but it was very difficult and with them taking 2.5 melee it helps to balance. They can still do uber damage, but now take more damage. Kind of like us we honestly can do a good deal of damage, but at a cost of taking more damage, pistols and meleers do less damage but can take damage better. GO SOE WAY TO BALANCE!

Do'h I just got novice commando two days ago, so i won't get the 2.5x damage from rifle, this sux every combat class i pick now has a 2.5x damage from meele. Maybe i should go meele now, since they up the range and lower the HAM.

that waht you get for jumping on the band wagon like 90% of commandos out there they are fair weather. They jsut joined because of uber damage. so I still laugh at them.

GDM it is funny having other people worring about BAF MOB's now. I also agree with you that 2.5 Multiplyer is needed for balance for both Rifleman and Commando classes.

True true i wanted to do mass damage also i'm a masterweaponsmith on ahazi so i don't have to worry about buying rocket launcher all the times cause i just make them and use them on kreetles But my goalsis still mastering rifleman or untill i use a T21, due to missing resources on Ahazai no T21 for us yet.

This is me too. I changed my UI ActionTab Slot from a pistol to a Flamer b/c I thought they were still considered melee (this is on my Rifle Bar). I haven't noticed the heavier dmg (to me) from using it though, it seems like I take less dmg then while equiped with my T21, but NPC's dont switch to melee generally now.I will say that as it stands with the Flamer haveing a opt range of like 5m, then it sux pretty hard for the Commandos. I mean at least we might get a shot off when they notice us, b4 they rush us to melee... Commandos are already in melee range.


However, b4 you start judging me as a bandwagoneer, I had this as an objective long ago... how long, you ask? Well, let's just say that I got 3 tiers in UA combat b4 the Vibro Knuckler nerf.

Does anyone else wish they had one of those stress relief balls but in the likeness of Raph Koster? I would have bought the collectors edition for that.
