I'drather haveone of these:

"Merr-Sonn M-435 Death Sledge Advanced Blaster Rifle

The companion longarm of the new M-434 Death Hammer blaster pistol, the Merr-Sonn M-435 Death Sledge Advanced Blaster Rifle is actually meant to be a basic grunt rifle. At this time, however, it is seeing service mostly as a sharpshooter and marksman rifle. It has the longer range normally associated with less powerful weapons, the power of the famous BlasTech A280 and is tougher than a pourstone brick.
The only real drawbacks are the price and the energy consumption rate. The higher price is due to the cutting edge technology incorporated into the weapon. The energy consumption rate is unavoidable at this time, but later versions of the M-435 are expected to improve in this area as the technology involved improves. The only rifle on the market that comes anywhere near the M-435 in all areas is the BlasTech EKX-10.

The M-435 is 84.3 cm in length, mounted with a fixed stock and comes with a passive, light enhancing scope mounted on top of the barrel that provides +2 to hit if used to help aim for one round and up to +4 if used in low-light conditions. The power pack, which provides enough energy for 60 shots, is inserted into its housing in front of the trigger guard. "

Note it has the power of the BlasTech A280 "The BlasTech A280 Blaster Rifle is reported to be the best armor-piercing rifle available. Evidence has shown that it is capable of splitting a fully-armored Imperial stormtrooper nearly in half at only medium range"

Now that sounds like a T21 beater.

Hmmm...I like the idea, but it shouldn't take as long to pick up as it does to set up (5-10 seconds maybe. That's still a long time)

While immobilized, you should have to have a small firing arc too, to make sense. I have screenshots of my rifle firing to the left, right and behind me while prone

This would provide good tactical situations in Group PvP and raids, as flanking a group of immobilized machine gunners would be a viable maneuver.

I think the machine gunners should be given protection vs ranged combatants but not heavy weapons(except for a penatly for them to hit), and extra damage taken from meleers (2.5x! ok...maybe 3.0x because you are very vulnerable)

Too bad this would work in real life and not a game like this where people will charge at the gun with reckless abandon because even if they are hit, they are still moving at full speed.

I swear, everyone in this game is on Cocaine.

Can anyone say H-Web Repeating Rifle? Looks a lot like a T21 but on a tripod...

Here's my thought;

Takes 20-30 seconds to "unpack" it

Also, as long as you have it enabled you could be immobilized...like you are under cover but standing.

Higherdamageand with 1/3rd of the pause and a touch less accuracy?

This is the opponents pay off...it must also have a lotnegative defense mods.

It should take 20-30 seconds to "pack it up."

Any comments?
