Thread: Please Help me with my template.
Ok, so I have been out of galaxies for 3 months and I am a little confused on some of the current changes. Before I left I was working on CH and Rifleman. Now with all of the CH changes I am a little confused on how they work and I am considering dropping the profession in favor of combat medic. Currently I am:
Scout: 4/0/4/0
Marksman: 4/0/0/3
Rifleman: 4/0/0/2
Creature Handler: 2/2/1/3
Medic(Master): 4/4/4/4
I have basically two variations I could follow;
Keep the creature handler and either fill it out, and sacrifice some medic, or keep master medic and go 4/4/1/4 on CH.
The seccond option would be to Master Combat medic. Which would require me to dump all of my scouting and CH.
What do you guys think? I know I could have fun either way, I am just a little concerned about all of the CH nerfs, but I have also invested a lot of time into it.
i would keep the CH skills at least until you master rifle. (that's if you're into easy xp and not a loooong tedious grind, which is the way i was).
at 2212 you should still be able to control very good pets. your best friend is probably a GSP with Pet Stim C's/D's - i lvl'd the rifleman profession very fast after the initial grind to countersnipe3, thanks to BattleCat, my gsp.
i lot of people on here prefer the no-pets thing, which i totally respect -... i did that for a while, but the warping frustrated me too much, and it was just too slow as i had friends i wanted to "catch up to" so i could be more effective with them.
anyways - heh. as you say, you'll have fun no matter what! but i wouldn't ditch CH sight-unseen while guessing at what they will do to the profession.. that's like ditching rifleman because of the supposed "3 second cap"... wooooo the boogie man is coming!.
