Unhelpful A'rien is at it again! Please post your revelent rifleman issues here. Please no issues suchs as: "Server doesn't have t-21" or "We suck in PvP". Keep it to good issues like. Warping mobs or something revelent.

May be better to wait another few days and see what the upcoming mega-patch is going to provide. I think several of my rifleman issues have been addressed. In no particular order:


-- Lower HAM costs (don't need to be drastically reduced)
-- Warping MOBs ... possible fix (or at least a partial fix) in next patch?
-- Conceal Shot aggroes friends .... fixed in next patch ?
-- T21 should be improved somewhat
-- SG82 and Spraystick fixed to use correct type of attack (cold,acid)
-- Ability to target specific pool (If BH can eye shot, we should be able to hit a large body part!)


Probably more, but I'm tired.

While probably not a Rifleman issue it does indeed affect us an that is the Stat Bug.


1. When receiving Musuician Buffs. If i have either wounds or am wearing armour I find that the buffs do not take and my stats begin gto go lower rather than higher.


2. The going prone bug. When going Prone we Warp. There are several work arounds however we need this addressed.


3. Creature Warping. No explanation required.


4. Not sure if this is an issue but I believe the T21 should be more powerful. failing that and I think it is addressed in the next patch. If we can't hit harder. Let us hit more often.

Spraystick is supposed to do Acid damage? Gah, I never knew. Please fix that(and the rest of Wayne's list is good also)


HAM costs and MOB warps are my personal 2 biggest problems. I hope this lovely patch makes it allll better...

well, everything everyone else said:


add:


/takecover should be more consistant. (at master, it should work 100% of the time i'd say. or close to..)


block mod fixed + working?


fix the armor holes (not rifleman-specific)


fix the food/buffs/drug problems (not rifleman-specific)


fix warping (obviously)


fix concealshot (obviously)


lower ham costs or increase dmg on HS3 to be more linear in respect to HS1 and HS2.


adjust the description of Surprise shot so it doesn't say "must be used from cover"


make us crawl faster with SNEAK skill - i don't seem to crawl any faster than i did when i was non-master. could be me though.


Consider making Flurry+Supression actually KD things (creatures? npc's more consistantly? pvp possibly?)


change spraystick back to acid dmg. (this is very important).


change tusken back to kinetic dmg. (This is very important).


question: is headshot accuracy inline with otherspecials' accuracies? i've not run any tests but sometimes i get the feeling it's less accurate. should it be?


possibly give us some defense versus blind... (based on BH's ability to target mind with action pool, it would be nice if we had even a little bit of defense against the status effect). - though, this is only a thought, not a fullblown request, and in my opinion, not an urgent one. (for others, it may be - especially wookiees.)

All my issues are up on these lists so I will refrain from repeating them but I haveone wish..


1. Gives us real camouflage like mesh, a bush and maybe some paint. A ranger has camouflage Ithink we should have some too.You know just for looks. After all we are SNIPERS.

Some of the changes on TC should help us out. I think there is a fix for conceal shot and they upped our abilities slightly.


Some of the things I would like to see though are these:


1) Either fix warping or kill 2.5x dmg (Think this is something that they are working on actually)


2)Either increase dmg to T21 or lower the ham costs


3) Must NOT get a 3 sec cap on rifles. That would kill our entire class


4) Fix the tusken and spraystick. Tusken is suposed to be kinetic and spraystick is acid.


5) Fix surprise shot


6) Fix takecover (Actally our dev said this one is on his list)


I know I am forgetting several things but thats all I could think of for now.

I'll hop on TC tongiht and see how the T-21's look for some reason I thought they were making the max damage higher on them, but also you have to look at the resources being used to make um. We don't have t-21's on Tarq. but even our Laser rifles are sub par those those of others best I've seen unsliced with out power ups and stocks is 40-396. You all will love the new defensive mods and accuracy bonuses that are comming across though they make riflemen good even at lower levels.

C'mon, as a near-master ranger, my perks come down to camoflage, big camps, and harvesting bonuses, for two mastered classes... you want camo, take ranger.


That said I am also taking up rifle right now, there was something very un-ranger-like about having a little pistol and kiting my big game... it seemed, well, undignified somehow.


I have hardly progressed in the profession but so far I rather enjoy it, although I agree that it would be much much better if/once they fix the warping mobs, warping prone, and that other bug where the social critter you fired at doesn't know where you are, but everyone else on the map suddenly does... as for power, I love the strategy of the rifle, where if you take the time to set up a nice shot, and keep an exit strategy, you are quite the hunter...

I have an issue with the fact that im a novice rifleman and with a sliced laser rifle I can do 2000 damage and all my missions are so easy. The missions for the Rebel's are so easy its like one shot to each person. I think that the missions should be skilled around what specifications your weapon has. I can easily earn money, but its boring doing one shot and thats it. They need to make missions more skilled for rifleman.

1) warping MOBS: It really sucks to get stomped for 2.5x melee damage by something that has warped on top of you.


2) Head shot 3 HAM cost way to high for relative damage: It is way out of whack with headshot 2.


3) Weaponoptimum accuracysare way tootight: With a laser rifle you are only accurate prone from 55-64m and its sweet spot is within like 3m before dropping precipitouly or going out of range. If they extended our ability to fire beyond 64m while prone It would eliminate the dreaded "your target is out of range" message
