Thread: This is only a test.
You guys are the worst profession ever. You can't hit CRAP till you master, and who wants to use a gay weapon like rifle anyway? Too afraid to hit something up close, are you?
Get a REAL gun.
Now then, I want everyone to please post their GUT reaction to that message I wrote above and tell me what you would have said to me. Be brutally honest. (BTW, I should state that I don't actually think that, I'm merely conducting an experiment.)

No, LOL. It's a long story, I will explain eventually. I just want people's GUT reactions to someone flaming their chosen profession.

My gut reaction is probably somewhat lightened due to the fact that the post title said it was a test, so I expected it to be something like this. But my initial response would be:
You are entitled to your opinion, but standing toe-to-toe pounding it out does not necessarily prove anything. Battle is about strategy and tactics, knowing your strengths and weakensses as well as your opponent's and using them to your advantage. My prefered fighting style is oriented better towards the rifle, so I chose rifleman, and I choose to put myself in situations where I can use thost tactics effectively. Standing toe-to-toe against a weapon that has better accuracy at that range is simply stupid. The better question is why would I do that when my advantage is at 60 - 64m? In the end, all that matters is who is left standing and who is waking up in the cloning facility. If, at Master, that is me more often than my opponents, then the long grind is worth it.
I would have said, "Screw you nerd, I chose this profession because I'm a rifle marksman in real life and enjoy long-range shooting, not because I'm a chunky, pimple-faced brat that made a feable attempt at choosing the most powerful profession, but failed. Now you take your little commando toys, run along, then post about how you killed 273,579 people in PvP before you were brought down."
That's about what I'd say if I just shot my mouth off. That was off the top of my head. If I had actually thought about it instead of immediately typing a response, I probably would have come up with something a bit more constructive.
You're right, the riffleman profession suck. You should quit!

Well, the reason I made this post was because we had a visitor to the image design forum not long ago from a random person, who called us all "rude" because we defended our chosen profession against people who called us "gay" or "13 year old girls playing dress up". I asked her what her chosen profession was. She said rifleman. Hence, my post. I was just curious as to whether or not another profession (combat oriented) would take offense to someone demeaning their profession.
My apologies to anyone I offended, as it was not my intention. I loved reading the responses. As for the charming individual who one starred me... go ahead, do it again. I know you want to.
All I can say to that is ID's should be able to do tatoos, body tatoos, arm tatoos, and leg tatoos.
God I love tatoos, speaking of wich I gotta get a new one, maybe a Dark Lotus cross inside on my left fore arm.
