And just when I went out and picked up TKA to give the other riflemen a dose of what I put up with.

Yeah, well with this in TC it makes me wonder how they are going to "Balance" it. I smell a nerf coming. A big smelly one at that.

So great, now we have no balancing factor to give us "overpowering" feats. Armor is gonna screw us and now our bargaining chip is taken away. Things cannot end well.

I have long feared this day.

Like was mentioned before, we have no more glaring weakness to protect us from a Profession destroying nerf. Namely, the 3 sec spd cap.

Or this may have to do with dmg mitigation stuff coming up.....

Well AP will not add damage soon so there is one nerf right there.

I'm sure they will think of some other nasty stealth nerfs that are totally out of whack to their guides on the main SWG website, and I'm sure we will only find out about them when some smart player notices them.

Always fear the nerf, if they add that friggin 3 second cap, I'm gonna be mighty pissed.

We aint got a KD(I can't get Flurry+Supression to work for crap, even if I could its two shots), we can't wear armor effectively without buffs, our Ham costs are insane, and everybody hates us.

Just leave us alone dammit!

doesnt matter the devs are gonna continue their crusade to balance the game for the 4-5% that actively PVP in detriment to everyone else.

2.5x damage didnt matter to me with or without pets. i dont get hit that much but when i do the things i hunt tend to kill in one shot regardless. so the damage multiplier could have been 100X and it wouldnt affect me.

i just find it worrisome that rifle will be nerfed to a unfun state and i will be forced to go back to being a BH...

There are disturbances in the force for riflemen. Many questionable things are occurring and I think this is one of them. I absolutely, positively love rifleman and never thought I would give it up.... but changes are coming that may lead to a period of reevaluation.

This could mean be the end of my Master Rifleman Career... but I guess I can hope that the updates won't screw me over for now, but if it does... I will become like one of those many pistoleer/smugglers to be a pain in the ass lol

I agree. This does not bode well. If they remove that penalty, they are going to 'balance' it by taking away something else or by adding something even worse. I suspect it will be the 3 second cap, as others have indicated.

But what do we expect, they apparently do not realize that "nerf herder" is not a complimentary term.

I think damage mitigation is replacing it. Meleer's will be doing full damage to us (including that 75% damage reduction) but I think we'll be doing full damage to them. Overall, I think it will work as TKA's can still kill me in one hit, but now I can kill them in one as well (at least at Master level). Of course, if they get in close, I just bust out the flamethrower. That'll teach 'em.
