Thread: Another hidden T21 nerf?

On top of everyone worrying about the possible new AP system killing the usefullness of the T21, another scary thought just occurred to me.

I think I saw this on the Jedi forum:
The rumor on TC is that they increased the HAM of Krayt's to 300k'ish. Yes, three-hundred thousand! That's about a 10x increase? Being Jedi, they think it was being done to make the pearls that are best for their lightsabers much more rare.

Reading another forum, I was reminded that it takes 11 krayt tissues to make a T21.

Yikes! So if it is going to be that much harder to kill a krayt, what do you think that will do to prices for items that require krayt pieces!

Since I am knocking on the door of rifleman and want to get a T21, this may scare me more than those of you that already have several stocked up. But it does scare me.

actually for krayts ya better off using a t21 so it gives the rifle an advantage in the hunt.

Don't worry, krayts couldn't drop 11 tissues at once ANYWAY!

Besides, a laser rifle is a lot better than a T-21, and you only need 4 for that. The new UBAR PISTOLEER gun requires 5.

First, when people talk about a Krayt enhanced weapon vs. a non-Krayt one, they tend to talk like they are comparing a CEDF Rifle to a T21. Yes, a Krayt enhancement makes a nicer weapon, but it is simply not that big of a difference, so relax.

Second, it is true that a Laser can sometimes out perform a T21, but that is solely dependent on the circumstances. For instance, a Laser against a Heavy Armor target is at a severe disadvantage compared to a T21.

Someone on weaponsmith forum reported a drop of 11 identical tissues this week. Apparently the patch to limit identical loot to 10 never went in or was removed with no notice.

It doesn't requiren 11 tissues to make a t21, you can have a weaponsmith add 11 tissues to make it kryat enhanced.

you can get a krayt enhanced t-21. Ive got one after a drop of 11 tissues. so it is possible. and as for the krayt going up, and pets going down, rifleman will be one of the only classes to take out a krayt. If ya wanna spend a couple of hours doing it.

You can get the same tissue from the same nest, doesnt really need to be the same dragon. I have seen about 2-3 T21s for sell on my server. The funny thing is one of them was no better then a non-kryat T21, talk about a waste.

IT WOULD BE NICE IF THE RAIDENT SERVER EVEN HAD THE T-21 RIFLE.

the t-21 is like the flamethrower for the riflemen. no were near as powerful true but its the elite weapon that a riflemen can use. im currently leveling in riflemen and im tired of being owned by small animals and noobs because they get to close. I NEED A T-21.

Apparently I was confused. I was under the mistaken impression that Krayt tissues were needed for a normal T21. It guess you only need them for a Krayt enhanced version. Kinda obvious now. (Thinks to self "Gee, I've heard of Krayt enhanced T21s. That would probably mean the normal ones don't need krayt tissue. DUH.")

It's a good thing I don't wear shoes. I eat less shoe leather that way when I open my mouth and insert my foot.

That would be me I suppose. 2 of them even. It is possible but not very common for 11 tissues to drop. I've heard 12 is the maximum number that can be dropped, never seen it myself though soI can't verify this.

Youngin, i know it sucks about the T21s, i realy feel for you guys, but your not missing that much realy, the T21 is not the riflemans flame thrower, its the riflemans heavy acid launcher... its only good in certain circumstances,

even though i have a solid collection of T21s, my sweet little 522dam lazer is my bread and butter weapon. unless your target actualy has Heavy armor, your better off with a good lazer rifle

still, i hope you guys can get your T21s soon hopefully the next publish?...
