Rifleman Archive

Once I reach Novice Rifleman, which won't take me too long, what tree should I go up first? I have the combat xp to immediately go 0,0,0,3. I would appreciate your input. Thanks!

do exactly that get 0003 it gives you an area attack and most importantly the speed you need to level quickly.

then go 003x for the more damageing flushing shot 2

after that then go 403x

lots of people seem to like to go for accuracy first but you really dont need accuracy beyound what you get at novice rifle just for leveling off monsters.

Ok I will give the correct answer and not jump to conclusions. Depends! for me i knew to lvl rifleman i would do quenker/baz's solo and they only spawn 2 at a time so an area attack is pretty useless. So i went sniping tree first and was very pleased with how fast i was leveling.

its not just for the AOE its also the most powerful attack you have for the speed before you master.

The 000X tree is combat XP is it not? The 00X0 tree is rifle xp. You should be able to do both together.

Whoops.. just re-read your message: Never mind... see you already have enough Combat xp.

Nobody's mention concealshot..... This has allowed me (with the help of plenty of Brandy!!!) to level far more quickly because I die far less frequently!! The shot speed is a little slow for me (not a problem for you though) but it is a very effective method of getting xp.
