Thread: Rifleman Only Content

Ok so after being bored of grinding after just 6 profs i reckon ill wait for the revamp, so I cast my eye around the game for a fun class. I decided on rifleman despite the extreamly slow xp gain in compraison to other profs.


What im asking for is the more experianced Rifleman post a list of thins that are in-game or due in-game that are only for rifleman, Like Quests, Special Rifles, Etc.. and how to locate and begin these adventures.

There is a new rifle in the Geo Quest... Disruptor, it's really nice. And there is a mission on Tatooine where you are charged with killing a Tusken to get a special rifle.

lvling rifleman was like a dream (maybe because i mastered carbineer first though, which was... boring?)

God, I did Pistoleer, Carbineer and Riffleman one after the other and Riffleman was by far the easiest to xp. Get a speed sliced T21, stand at 60m and watch the critters fall down.

Thx for replies guys, so this Genonosian Rifle.....is it a drop, if so from whator do i have to mess around with a schematic and find a W/S to make it?


And yeah, slooow xp gain, of all the profs ive played sorry to say this is the most boring....but i persevere becuase im told the effort is worth it in the end.

The DXR6B Disruptor Rifle is the new rifle from the Geo caves. You can obtain a schematic from doing quests within the cave. The quest is relativley easy, little more than a series of "go see someone lower in the cave" coupled with a delivery mission or two, as I recall. The only catch is that just about everything in the cave wants to kill you. I do not remember the bad guys as being necessary to the quests, they are mainly just part of the storyline andbetween you and where you have to go. So it can be very difficult or very easy depending on how many people are in the cave and distracting the bad guys while you do your quest.


Of course, you need to kill stuff there, too, because some of the drops (Geonosian Power Cubes) are used in the building of the guns. Yellow ones increase damage, Red help HAM usage, and Green increase durability. You only use one type per gun, as I understand it. There is also a White cube, but from what I heard, it only acts as a place holder allowing you to make the gun if you do not have one of the others. Thus, the white are the least sought after type, yellow the most.


So yes, you can get the schematic, get you some power cubes, and havea WS whip you up one, but you can also find them on vendors at, of course, inflated prices. I have two, anddespite the fact that I have a schematic I haven't used yet, I bought them both.But now that the schematics are not so rare, the prices are coming down quite a bit.

actualy, rifleman is EASY to grind. I find going to fort tusken gives me the best xp, i got done with concealmentplaying for about 5 hours at about 9pm eastern time. Its the easiest profession out there. And its the best, we shootlike a pisotleer but have the power of a commandos flame cone 3. Awesome profession rifleman is. it also works well with medic and Teras kasi novice.

What drops these cubes?


What dmg type is the rifle?


Is it worth the effort or should i stick with my average stats T21??
